They will not be remembered fondly, either by voters this fall or history.

Imagine spending decades in politics like Mitch McConnell or Susan Collins only to have your lasting legacy be that you helped cover up the blatant abuse of power by Donald Trump because you were scared of him being mean to you on Twitter.

The threat is much greater than Twitter. Trump sent private goons halfway around the world to harass a US ambassador he was trying to get rid of.

What is he going to do? Have Senators whacked?

This man has power because the Republican party gave it to him. They have the ability to take it away too if they grow some spines.

He tapped her phone. He tapped her computer. He followed her and recorded her movement. He accounted for her security team and claimed to have turned someone inside. He did this with private goons, not employees of the state.

He is a media cash cow. Even if he is removed from office, he will not be silent. He was floating the idea of his own media company when he thought he might lose the election. He will be vindictive, petty, and dishonest in his propaganda against anyone who vexes him.

He might spend the rest of his life in court, and he could see bars. Once he's not President, it's everyone else's turn.
 
Trump can fire any ambassador he wants. That's his job. Also the investigation of corruption before handing out millions of aid dollars. Also, his job.

I can only imagine what further garbage the Dems come up with on Trump. None of it has worked so far. Don't really see that changing much.

let us know when you hold Obama accountable for Benghazi. Until then you have no business opening your yaps about selling out your country. It doesn't get more sellout than letting Americans die on a rooftop.

our ambassador being killed because he had no real protection was far far worse, but I don't blame Obama for that

What? Speak ill of the One? The Cult would have a fit.

From what we know now, Obama should have been impeached for spying on Trump. Hillary was responsible for Benghazi, and they proved she was grossly incompetent and was derelict of duty. The DoJ and State would not take action. One more example of how Obama ran the country like he was a crime boss, or at least the figurehead.
