Yes, it does.
Well, good. Points for consistency to you.
I'd like a little more "united" but back in the "United States of America". But it's not going to be easy when many of us are seeing what we believe are clear-cut violations of the Constitution, and the other guys say - "So what?".
I do believe that the 'trial' in the Senate is to determine IF there is a 'clear-cut violations of the Constitution'. Not sure if that's been determined.
Sure, some believe it to be, and many people believe many things that end up not being the actuality.
These are profound ideological differences that IMO are near impossible to reconcile.
Agreed, greater unity would be nice and better for the country, but I don't think it's in the cards, at least not in the near term future. Especially when some are forgetting the legal foundations of the country.
Transcript of U.S. Rep. Steny Hoyer’s speech on the articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump
“What I will do is remind Americans that the House provided President Trump every opportunity to prove his innocence."
From a Senior Democrat leader in the House. Democrats seem to have forgotten about due process for non-Democrats. That is a rather serious 'profound ideological difference' there.
