Democratic White House contender Gabbard sues Hillary Clinton for '''Russian asset''' comment

This lawsuit seems doomed. See this:

U.S. courts have said "rhetorical hyperbole" associated with politics is constitutionally protected speech.

Imagine if every politician sued an adversary who uses some sort of hyperbole in attacks.

Tulsi is polling in low single digits. Is she just trying to remain relevant? Or is she trying to ingratiate herself to the right wing just like with her "present" vote? What does she want? A cabinet position in Trump's second term?

She's suing her over false allegations she made against her. That's it. No other sneaky master plan.

Why?

She dumb.

A woman who has otherwise faithfully served her country and put her life on the line for it was unironically and openly accused of being an agent of a hostile foreign government by a major political figure without evidence beyond believing in an isolationist foreign policy that tangentially benefits the Russian Federation. I think she has a decent case.

A politician with no sneaky master plan? LOL, are you naive or something?

Oh. You are.

No decent case. It's constitutionally protected speech. Political hyperbole is not really defamation.

I think Tulsi just wants to posture. She knows she won't win the lawsuit. You know that to win, she needs to prove malicious intent, right? The intent behind a political agenda is not considered to be malicious intent, in similar cases. There's been jurisprudence about it already.

In an ideal world, Clinton would get the wall.

Why?

She is secretly mentored by Devin Nunes. They make a heck of a pair.

Tulsi must have made it plain she wouldn't be playing the establishment games the other stuffed shirts are. They (the DNC) don't like independent thinkers at all. See Bernie/2016.

i give Tulsi the benefit of the doubt because she's smoking hot and Hillary is a hideous evil crone.

Isn't there a commandment about coveting?

/// I give Tulsi the benefit because she's smoking hot. /// Matthew 5:28... ( lust and adultery )

For a few ($50M?) dollars more is my best guess. Great deal (retirement plan?) if she can prevail.

Oh, is this how you gauge politicians? On whether or not they are hot?

Hey, now I understand why you love Trump so much. You find him hot, huh?

Hint: that orange fatso is anything but hot, but I guess there is a taste for everything.

Hillary Clinton never said her name and never described the alleged candidate with any degree of specificity that people would know that was who she was talking about.. Jill Stein was the only person she spoke of by name in the segment that is the subject of the lawsuit. I would be surprised if this case doesn't get tossed out at the first hearing.
