Remembering the Hillary PUMAs for 2008 (re: Bernie Bros)

Yes I see you are already blaming others for his loss to Trump and he will lose if nominated.

Nope. Bernie won’t lose because of Hillary or Biden. They’re not part of Bernie’s coalition and their absence and lack of support is already factored into Bernie’s ability to win. That’s why I support Bernie. He doesn’t need them to win.

So you are OK with him supporting Trump again when he loses the nomination? That is what I cannot stomach. Promoting the Russian trolls lie that Hillary rigged the primary is supporting Trump.

Sanders Says 2016 Was Rigged, Won’t Pledge to Support Winner

Bernie threw his full support behind Hillary in 2016.

trump is sanders’s strongest supporter to get the Democratic nomination. bernard is trump’s McGovern.

Putin and sanders have much in common, beginning with trump never criticizing either one and praising both.

sanders had to apologize to Biden this past Monday for bernard’s camp viciously calling out Biden for Corruption.

Biden is Trump’s Hillary Clinton, only worse and more easily defeated.

I expect Biden’s supporters to support Trump over Bernie. I’ve already factored it in. Polling backs me up on this. Establishment voters would rather Trump than Bernie. Fact.

Thanks for making that point . Without the Democratic base fully behind the Democratic candidate Trump will win. I'll take my chances with the Bernie turncoats that will vote for Trump, it is not nearly as many as the moderates and independents who are turned off by the socialist moniker Sanders insists on keeping. Then you have his total lack of success in all his years in the Senate. What has Bernie done for you? You also need to address his threat to not concede to the winner until the convention. that is what got so many votes for Trump from his supporters last time.
While Sanders is coyly hiding behind the “some people say” formulation, he is threatening to repeat the tactics he used in 2016, when he called the process “rigged” and withheld his support long after the outcome was decided.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton won the nomination as the clear preference of the majority of her party’s electorate. She won 55 percent of the primary vote, as opposed to just 43 percent for Sanders, which is not an especially narrow margin.

It is true that, in a very broad sense, Democratic Party leaders decided early on to support Clinton’s candidacy, and she received major endorsements from elected officials and interest groups. That, however, is not what most people understand by the term “rigged.” What’s more, the process probably benefited Sanders. By clearing the field for Clinton, Sanders was able to position himself as the catch-all candidate for a broad coalition of voters who opposed Clinton for various reasons: Voters who considered her too moderate, or too liberal, or too corrupt all voted for Sanders, who had the anti-Clinton field to himself.

It is not true that the Democratic Party “rigged” the contest in any illegitimate or nefarious fashion. Russian hackers found some emails from staffers at the Democratic National Committee favoring Clinton, but the committee did not take important steps to materially impair Sanders. Throughout the primary, some real (or putative) supporters of Sanders often claimed improprieties at the polls, but those largely failed to pan out. Sanders supporters also reacted to the prospect that Democratic Party superdelegates would give Clinton the nomination even in the face of a popular-vote defeat, but that scenario turned out to be moot in the face of Clinton’s clear win.

You’re confusing the establishment with the base. They are two separate things. Bernie has the base just fine.

What a sucker you are. Republicans call every Democrat a socialist. Bernie is immune to the attack, not vulnerable.

Then you have his total lack of success in all his years in the Senate. What has Bernie done for you?

He has almost single-handedly carried the progressive movement on his shoulders for the past ~30 years, when Democrats were praying at the alter of Reagan and/or pushing to cut Social Security and Medicare. Corporate centrists stand for nothing their donors don’t tell them to stand for. Bernie and those following his lead offer hope for a better future. Obama offered hope and change and delivered neither. That’s why Dems lost 1000 seats during the midterms in 2010. Nobody showed up to vote except the Democrats’ opponents. Quick, blame that on Bernie too.

I see you have nothing the Bernie has actually done in DC all these years. At least Warren can point to the Consumer Protection Bureau as something tangible to be proud of. Bernie talks a good game but that is about all. I just hope he doesn't start claiming the primary is rigged again, that seems to be his go to whenever it looks like he is losing.

I just listed some.

Klobuchar did more than Warren. Why isn’t she rising in the polls?

The lies and fallacies just keep coming from the corporatist Bernie haters.

So when FDR failed to get his economic plans passed in a second bill of rights, when JFK failed to get his civil rights bill passed, when presidents failed to rid the world of nuclear weapons, I guess that makes them unfit. When German politicians failed to prevent Hitler's rise to power, I guess they'd be better replaced by politicians who 'succeeded' by supporting the rise.

Bernie has fought for the right things, against the plutocracy that is this country's biggest thread. If the plutocrats have done too well, and too many politicians serve them instead of the people, that makes Bernie right, not wrong.

Bernie did not get trump votes, that's a lie. No one campaigned harder for Hillary than Bernie, which is the first time I've ever seen that from a former rival. 25% of Hillary supporters did not vote for Obama; only 10% of Bernie supporters did not vote for Hillary, despite his high appeal outside the party.

These Bernie haters are among the biggest enemies the American people have, demanding we continue our increase of plutocracy.

Sanders supporters are still crying about Clinton? Time to move on and prepare for your excuses after he fails this year.

If you watch the news you'll see that its Hillary still crying about Bernie.

Yes the Democratic party is corrupt and that is why so many Bernie supporters voted for Trump. Your comment clarifies why poor Bernie is such a loser for the progressive cause. He can't win and instead he drives people away from those that can. He is also Trump's dream candidate. Moderates will flee in droves from his "socialist" ideology, Putin will scour his archives for dirt and Trump will benefit. I am not looking forward to pics and videos of Bernies honeymoon in Moscow are you?

The average deviation in the general election from ones party support in the primary is approximately 10%. Which is about the amount of bernie supporters that broke away from the dems. You are not being honest.

I await your, "Is that all!?!??" reply.

So you are fine with Trump being elected because Bernie called the primary rigged and Russian trolls picked that up and "reached out" to them using the polling data that Manafort gave them? I am not. It's not all Bernies fault that we have Trump but he certainly didn't help.

Sorry but Sanders held out conceding until long after the results were clear and he called the primary rigged giving the Russian trolls an "in" to target his supporters. These were mistakes and he is threatening to do the same again in 2020. As much as he says he does not want to be a "spoiler" he is not doing a good job at avoiding it. As far as accomplishments, his best trait is that he voted with the Democrats most of the time. I don't dislike much of his rhetoric and yes he is usually right but his methods to get his rhetoric into law have been lacking. Comparing him to FDR is laughable.

Bernie isnt responsible at all for Hillary's failures. In fact, in September and October of 2016 Bernie made more campaign stops on Hillary's behalf than Hillary did for herself. She got my vote but she was a bad candidate because she was a bad campaigner.
