More than one-third give Trump an F after three years: poll

1/21/20
More than one-third of voters said that they would give President Trump a failing grade in a new poll that finds opinions about his performance largely unchanged since 2018. In the Morning Consult-Politico poll, which asked voters to grade Trump on a scale from A to F, 38 percent gave him an F. Twenty-one percent of respondents said the president deserves an A. Seventeen percent of voters in the poll, which was released early Tuesday, said Trump deserves a B for his time in office, 10 percent said a C and 11 percent said a D. The ratings are similar to Trump’s “report card” from January 2018. In that survey, conducted after his first full year in office, 18 percent gave the president an A grade, 17 percent gave him a B, 14 percent gave him a C, 11 percent gave him a D and 35 percent gave him an F. Roughly 7 in 10 Democratic voters in the new poll — 71 percent — gave Trump an F and just 1 percent said he should get an A. Conversely, 51 percent of Republican survey respondents gave the president an A, and 5 percent said he should get an F. Thirty-seven percent of independents gave the president a failing grade, pollsters noted, and 11 percent gave him an A grade.

November is not looking good for Trump. 38% above give Donnie a big fat F for performance.

Are you saying the country is divided politically? Who knew?

Trump's approval ratings today show Trump's approval rating today 43% approve and 53% disapprove of him. Clinton's impeachment began he had a strong economy and a partisan impeachment, Clinton's approval rating was in the 60's. When the House voted to impeach him, his approval rating went way up into the 71's.

Trump has a strong economy and a partisan impeachment and his approval rating is still at 43% it hasn't gone up a point. Trump hasn't done a single thing on climate change, infrastructure or health care. Trump only focuses on his base and hasn't built on that.

Are you saying the country is divided politically? Who knew?

No. Polls show that in every meaningful manner Trump has lost the majority of Americans.

Chew on that.

It surprises me that more than half of Americans do not give Donald Trump an F.

Me too.

He has potential. He could do some decent things. But he makes more ignorant unforced errors than any human being since Caligula.

"At 14% among African American voters, Trump is doing better than the 8% he received from blacks in 2016 presidential election."

Zogby Analytics - The Zogby Poll(R): 2020 Presidential Election Report

"A growing number of polls show that President Trump is gaining the support of black voters above what any Republican president has ever received. Both Emerson Polling and Rasmussen Reports have it at about 34%, a stunning number."

Black voter support for Trump at ‘highest levels’ and could seal 2020 win

:doh Like we didn't already know... :giggling:

Yeah, one side who can't come up with anything of intelligence ever and just posts dumb one line deflections like this

It surprises me that more than half of Americans do not give Donald Trump an F.

Look at the dumb, deplorable comments we get from the right on this forum, no, its not surprising at all, they are the American Taliban

Trump's polls really haven't varied much since his election

He has a solid base of about 40% of the electorate

I bet if he is actually removed from office he will still have that 40%

That is why senate republicans can't vote to remove him from office. That 40% makes up the majority of republican voters. They know trump is a scumbag and guilty as sin but they want to keep their phoney baloney jobs. A sad state of affairs

But twenty-one percent gave him a "C" or "D" grade.
"C" is mediocre and mediocre can't win elections and neither can a "D" grade.

So, thirty-eight plus twenty-one equals fifty-nine percent of voters not giving him a good enough grade to win.
And we haven't even yet polled anyone on how they grade Republicans in the House and Senate.

So nobody's opinion has changed since 2018. Looks like impeachment is a failure for the dems in more than one way. They are not swaying anybody.

Except over 70% of americans want a fair trial with all witnesses, and documentation.

Oh and 51% want him removed. 51is more than 40 by the way...

LOL. I could give a rat's ass that Democrats and liberals give Trump an F. That makes me give Trump an A in my book. Keep up the good work and keep on shoving it up liberal's asses.

Ummmmmmm, Democrats and liberals make up 1/3 of the country and 1/3 of the country gave Trump an "F". Go figure. This isn't brain surgery. Pretty much every Democrat realizes they have a fight on their hands in 2020. How can this be if over half the country is against Trump? If you're so confident in your feelings then pop the cork now for 2020. I dare you.

Oh please. The left have won the DP battle when it comes to one side who can't come up with anything of intelligence ever and just posts dumb one line deflections

It would behoove you lefties to understand that more people identify themselves as conservatives than liberals and that right off the bat, 40% of Americans are solidly conservative and even if you split the Independent vote at 50/50, along with the electoral college, you guys have a long road to hoe. In other words, your only chance is to appeal to Independents and you aren't going to do that by moving the party further to the left and doing all this PC SJW crap.

I would think Trump haters would stop trusting rigged polls.
Remember 2016?
