I know the voices aren't real but they do have some good ideas.

What part of, "Our elected representatives are accountable to us, the voting public" are you unhappy with? Why do you believe that American citizens should be disenfranchised from the political process? Why do you believe that we shouldn't hold our elected representatives accountable for what they do in office?

How do you feel about the fact that the GOP majority has all but closed off access by the press to the Senate trial proceedings? If accountability is that important to you then open access to the Senate trial proceedings should be every bit as important. Mitch has made it clear that the Senate intends to restrict camera access, even C-SPAN's cameras, and the entire 2nd floor of the Capitol is now closed to the press for the duration, starting Tuesday.

Straight out of the republican playbook. Easy way to eliminate 4 remove from office votes.

News to republicans this impeachment is not a political ploy. Trump broke the rules. He held up money approved by congress for the Ucraine military in exchange for an announcement by the president of the Ucraine to announce an investigation of trumps political rival Joe Biden. Every since the whistleblower let the cat out of the bag the coverup has been ongoing

18 U.S. Code 872: “Extortion by officers or employees of the United States.

18 U.S. Code 192, “Refusal of witness to testify or produce papers,”

18 U.S. Code 610, “Coercion of political activity.”

They shouldn't be allowed to escape, but sadly the man you voted for is doing exactly that thanks to the craven hyperpartisanship of people you also vote for (shocking!). Team Trump has been stonewalling meanwhile the GOP has indicated total coordination with him in his own trial, indicated that they will violate their general oath with respect to the constitution, AND will violate their oath to be impartial. But you cheer it on. No doubt you think it's fair because of some imaginary crime Hannity said liberals inflicted on you.

You would have stroked out long ago if a Democrat administration behaved in any fashion like this. If Trump loses, you need not fear this eventuality as none of the Democratic candidates - indeed, not even Hillary - are on the same level utter depravity and corruption as Trump. So you won't stroke out.

However, you will expect to be taken seriously when you complain about alleged misdeeds by that administration, and when you are not taken seriously it will be added to the long list of grievances you have against 'the left', which seemingly justify all the sins committed in the name of fighting liberals.

Let's look at it this way: that is a stupid lie.

As you know but choose to lie about it, the corrupt act in exercise of office was withholding congressionally approved aid and send a team of Giuliani's swampies to try to strongarm Ukraine into announcing re-opening of investigations into Biden in order to raise his chances of winning re-election.

The question is: have you truly deluded yourself into thinking you can fool anyone with idiotic lies like that OR are you just virtue-signalling hatred of liberals and worship of Trump?
