How Big is Africa?

Africa is the second largest continent. None of the rest you have inside are continents.

I don't know that anyone's "worrying" about it. I guess it was presented to correct some perception that its size wasn't significant. I don't know who thought that to begin with, but considering that at least one person thinks that it's "wrong" to make the observation that North America is a continent and America is a country, I guess there are a lot of people who are geographically pretty ignorant after all.

Are people really surprised that Africa is the 2nd largest continent?

Are they equally surprised Asia is the largest?

Would be nice if some of the philanthropists would move there, take their businesses with them, instead of going for photo ops.

China will absolutely dominate Africa. That's been their expansionist strategy for a while, now, ever since they've realized that poking the bear up north won't help with their lack of space for their growing population.
