I mean...not that we needed yet another story tying Trump support to good-old-fashion American racism, but we got one via a 53-year-old pilot for Endeavor Air, a regional subsidiary of Delta, in today’s “Yep, Water is Still Wet as Hell” news.


James E. Dees, whose name was probably not intentionally made to sound eerily similar to Robert E. Lee (although, who am I to speculate?), was arrested Friday after police say he tagged bathrooms, elevators and cars at the Tallahassee International Airport with racial slurs and messages supporting President Donald Trump, USA Today reported.

What the guy did was absolutely wrong and he should be punished for it. But, Trump didn't do it -- and bears no fault.

The guy clearly supports Trump and when someone supports Trump they are supporting ideologies and policies that are his.

Glad this nut case was arrested and this loon was caught early before he did something even worse.
Dont know if Trump is a racist but he is 100% a bigot and the most dishonest president of my lifetime.

With that said his tact or lack thereof it most certainly fans flames and creates an environment where these nutters feel empowered.

But he isnt responsible for the actions just the environment. The nutters have been on high alert for a while now. They know their time is coming to and end and this is their last stand. Society is moving on and they are less and less accepted or ignored and equal rights are marching on.

I do not think that Donald Trump is responsible for this kind of environment, although I think he is exploiting the division sowed by other people. If I had anyone to blame, it would be the sort of people who insist on viewing the world as a battlefield over power between groups of people, reducing individuals to avatars, to low dimensional and superficial picture of themselves that assigns them a role as either victims or oppressors based on their group membership.

Donald Trump makes sense when identity politics is poisoning everything. He does not argue with the far left. He does to the far left as the far left does to everyone else: he attacks them. Joe and Jane Average elected a monumental middle finger.

The worst part is that no one seems to be aware to whom this message is addressed. Donald Trump doesn't address message bordering on racism and other types of shocking comments to actual racists. When he says something shocking, it's always for its effect on far left lunatics. What he wants is for the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, Facebook and Twitter to be drowned by outrage -- and this only works if the response is easy to anticipate.

When he made changes to asylum policies over the summer, it did not make a single front page. In some journals, it wasn't even mentionned. Why? Because he told the Squad to go back to their countries -- remember that one? It also conveniently happened right in the middle of a fight between Pelosi and the Squad... and Pelosi was forced to side with the radicals.


If Democrats did not made appeals to identity politics, cancel culture and political correctness, none of the above would work. Nobody would care for nutjobs who get furious at comments about Trump because they'd already be busy talking about what he's actually doing.

During Obama's tenure, a number of his supporters decided to ambush police officers -- that doesn't mean they were supporting Obama's policies and ideologies.
