Government prosecutors testify of corruption in Ukraine involving Americans

In this investigative journal report are evidences that Ukraine officials have reported several facts which the US DOJ needs to look into. These facts are not based upon some wimpy dossier fabricated by a liar for money, but facts which are substantiated by government officials familiar with the investigations.

The evidence includes: "Sworn statements from two Ukrainian officials that their agency tried to influence the 2016 U.S. presidential election in favor of Hillary Clinton. The effort included leaking an alleged ledger showing payments to then-Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort."

These are serious allegations and should not be brushed off, especially by political partisans who do not want any possible crimes by democrats investigated. If democrats want to prove these allegations false, then let them support a full investigation in order to [prove that, just like Trump supported the Mueller investigation knowing Mueller would in effect have to exonerate him in the end.

Trying to influence a US election is not a crime regardless, and quite frankly, the democrats have taken this whole Russian interference to such an absurd extreme they could be seen as criminal co-conspirators to influence the election on behalf of foreigners every time they open their mouths championing the cause of illegal immigrants.

I like how the op/ed author has sources for some of the claims he makes...those sources are other opinion articles he wrote.

Trying to influence an election using your presidential power is not a crime? Are you serious? Would you approve of a Dem president doing this? Would you approve of a Dem president withholding a foreign countries aid unless they investigated a Republican candidate's family member?

Quoting other opinion articles is the main nutrition of conspiracy theorists. I've seen a case where four conspiracy theorists quoted each other to support their arguments. Clicking their links was like being trapped in a vortex loop.

You sound like the democrats who claim the evidence is not real because they do not want it to be real or to be uncovered. Nevertheless, the democrats expose themselves by obstructing investigations into the reported crimes, especially after they were so eager to spend tens of millions of American worker's earnings on investigating a conspiracy theory that turned out to be a false invention of enemies of Trump.

You are right that what the Russians supposedly did was not illegal, but since democrats still make a big deal about supposed interference from foreigners in the election and since democrats continue to falsely accuse Trump of having colluded with Russians this report from officers in the Ukrainian government about Ukrainian efforts to help Hillary in 2016 becomes very important. The report is also especially important now that the democrats are trying to impeach Trump for asking questions about the corruption in favor of Hillary.

I have a question for democrats: Did Ukrainian officials submit statements under oath that they have evidence that Ukrainians colluded with American democrats in efforts to help Hillary in the 2016 election?

The question has come up in Congress but I know of nobody who has proven the allegations are false. Nearly all the democrats, however, of course, claim the allegations are false, but who would expect them not to?

If trying to influence an election is a crime as democrats insist, then we definitely should look into Ukrainian officials' claim that Ukrainians colluded with American democrats in 2016 to try to help Hillary win the election.

Question for democrats: Which of the following two is the real conspiracy theory and which, on the other hand, actually has factual support for the allegations:

1. Trump conspired with Russians to benefit himself in the 2016 election? -or-
2. Ukrainians conspired with American democrats to corrupt the 2016 election in Hillary's favor?

Government officials have uncovered financial records showing that Burisma routed more than $3 million to American accounts tied to Hunter Biden. Could this be evidence of payment for services rendered? Joe Biden and Senate cronies get $1 billion in grant and loan guarantee money allocated for use by Ukraine's oil industry and $3 million of the US grant money makes its way back to Biden's American bank accounts? The US government needs to investigate these allegations.

I have other links. What about the fact that the US government wasted 3 years and tens of millions of dollars chasing down a conspiracy theory which turned out to be nothing more than a democrat hoax? Do you think our government should not at least look into these claims by Ukrainian officials?

I approve of any President asking a foreign government to cooperate with the AG to investigate a Hobbs Act violation like Joe Biden was going around bragging about.

You wouldn't mean like Hillary paying for a fake dossier from Russians and then using the information to get FISA warrants to spy on a presidential campaign to influence an election would you.

I also missed the part of how Biden received immunity from investigation just because he is running in a primary given the fact that his cocaine dealing, thrown out of the Navy, DUI and drug busted kid was so qualified to be on a Ukrainian energy company board and involved in billions coming out of China.

Their is no depth a Liberal won't go to protect their criminals while making accusations for the same thing towards Trump.

Ukrainian Investigators Probing Ex-Prosecutor Lutsenko For Abuse Of Power

KYIV -- Anti-corruption investigators have opened a probe of former Prosecutor-General Yuriy Lutsenko, who is tied to the spiraling scandal over whether U.S. President Donald Trump sought to pressure Ukraine to investigate one of his chief political rivals.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau (NABU) said in a statement on October 17 that the investigation was opened in mid-August, prior to Lutsenko's resignation, and was made in response to a Kyiv court ruling ordering the probe.

The probe, which relates to allegations of abuse of power by Lutsenko, does not appear to have a direct link to the larger, U.S.-focused scandal that Lutsenko is connected to.

Lutsenko met with Rudy Giuliani at least twice this year. Giuliani, a Trump ally who later became the president's personal attorney, has been accused of running a shadow foreign policy in Ukraine for Trump's personal political benefit. Trump has denied the accusations.

Lutsenko also made false allegations, which he later retracted, as part of an effort to force out then-U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch.
