And that the CSMJ has 35 years in today. Who gives a ****. To the officers and NCO of the several line companies it's useless info indeed which is why we exclude ourselves from the loopy loop of it. Patton's severe incapacity was his notorious inability to recognize PTSD suffered by the Soldiers he commanded in the field during the three plus years of WW II across the globe. This factor is a severe negative to Patton's reputation and history as an otherwise awesome military commander in the greatest war in history. Until this year chairman of JCS was a two year term renewable once, not a four year term. New legislation made CJCS a single four year term beginning with the current chairman Gen. Mark Milley who last year completed his one time 5 year term as CSA. Trump didn't like or care for Dunford and Trump was one among many in this respect in Washington where Dunford was known as "Silent Joe." Trump renominated Dunford for the 2nd two year term beginning in 2017 only because Mattis twisted Trump's arm on it.

No one needs to personally learn anything from any personal doctor about Trump's boner spurs deferment during the Vietnam War. Your insistence that Trump critics have a personal knowledge of Trump and his life is a coverup of the fact you haven't any arguments to defend Trump. Regarding Tillerson, he refused to to do what Trump wanted him to do. The subordinate follows orders or gets out. Pompeo came in and the Koreans stopped launching missiles over Japan.

Tillerson failed because he was terrified of doing things in a new way.

Priebus and Mattis and Kelly were like Tillerson in that they wanted to do things "as they were always done". It's a new world. Trump shows nothing if he doesn't show that.

The simple truth of the matter is this: If you work for someone, your value is shown to them by the degree to which you advance or retard the achievement of their goals.

You left out John Bolton. He's gone, too. Bolton would never use a discussion where he thought a war might do the job. Trump disagreed.

When I reported to folks, any disagreement was left in the office where it occurred. Exposing disagreement with your boss to the light of day is a great recipe for termination.

I served in our Army in Germany. My job was the company clerk. I had to do a daily morning report. The reports when finished were distributed to around 8 sites. For history is one reason. It went up the chain of command so all commands our senior had the same records.

There are various examples from my career demonstrating the same impact.

In the NFL, they talk about a guy "being great in the locker room". These guys are generally unifiers and good communicators.

They may or may not be great "on the field". However, due to their impacts in the locker room, they make the team better.

Conversely, there are players with All Pro talent who are corrosive to the entire team dividing and undermining with how the act and in things they do and say.

When you are a member of the team, you have a specific set of duties to do. Do your job. Beyond that, help others to do their job and help everyone be the best they can be.

Tom Brady is reviled by about anyone you care to speak to in Indianapolis. However he's great on the field and great in the locker room. I assume he's a borderline deity in Boston.

I’m sure there are at least 500 business entities that have Donald Trump as a principal.

There is nothing unique or grand about that fact.

I “own” half a dozen businesses myself.

Typically, real estate developers set up multiple partnerships and companies for major projects. They do it to insulate themselves from liability (it also make it easier to walk when they realize that their deal is going to go south, something Trump has a long history of doing).

I am actually surprised that the number is only 500 in over 40 years. That’s well below what one would expect for a large developer.

In truth, Trump is not a large developer. He is a publicity whore. But in Manhattan, where Trump has managed to plaster his name on buildings that he doesn’t actually own

One more time. Bush did volunteer to serve in Vietnam. He spent a lot of flying hours in the F-101. The pilots I served with in Germany did not get to pick the plane or helicopter they flew. They were assigned to such craft by senior officers. Rove nor Albaugh could get to military records as you keep alleging.

as his flight instructor Maurice Udel, and two other pilots in his unit (111th FIS at Ellington) Woodfin, and Fred Bradley recalled separately when interviewed by Newsweek's Evan Thomas back in Feb of 2004.

Udel told Bush that in addition to being 200 flight hours short of the requirement, the Palace Guard program was not accepting volunteers anyway because the 102 was unsuitable in Vietnam and the program was being discontinued.

In addition Retired Col. William Campenni also stated that and the reson for the refusal to accept them in a letter to the editor of the Washington Times.
