Another dirty Democrat scheme: Take Trump down using the Yovanovich Bewitch ploy

Everything you said about Marie Yovanovitch is propaganda put out by Fox. All it would take is a simple Google search of Marie Yovanovitch and her biography to see that Fox is brainwashing you.

I did not get Yovanovitch's background from Fox. I have no idea where you got that idea. You can also Google Yovanovitch and read what Wikipedia said about her and you will find the same thing I found and reported here that you refuse to believe.

No, she was not any of those things-except in your conspiracy theory-addled mind. Of course my opinion might alter if you can provide substantiating evidence of her alleged criminal activity. Your opinion doesn't count as evidence.

She testified under oath to Congress that she would not allow the Ukrainian prosecutor to meet with the FBI at the American embassy, and yet she claimed she was fighting corruption. She was not fighting corruption, she was obstructing investigations into American corruption in Ukraine just like Lutsenko said she was. Joe Biden had also publicly testified that he had the Ukrainian prosecutor fired who was investigating Hunter Biden and he too, like Yovanovitch, accused the prosecutor of corruption. Biden and Yovanovitch are lying corrupt democrat partisans who will protect democrat corruption no matter what it costs.

Why. Didn't. Trump. Just. Fire. Her.

Some con is going to have to answer this at some point.

I asked for EVIDENCE, not your opinion.

I posted the evidence of her testimony before Congress. She openly admitted on Oct 11, 2019, in a joint deposition before Congress that she would not allow the Ukrainian prosecutor general to talk with the FBI about American corruption in Ukraine. You can deny the facts but you cannot erase the facts.

He's the second coming, didn't you know?

And he reflects exactly the same 'moral principles' as that bunch of sanctimonious and godless hypocrites. They see in Trump their own corruption and fraud, justified and given official validity.

No you didn't; you posted a cherry-picked quote. Let's have the context; or is that too uncomfortable for you?

You call the testimony a cherry picked quote but you cannot refute the fact that she said she refused to allow the Ukrainian prosecutor to talk with the FBI, a fact confirmed by the Ukrainian prosecutor as well.

You believe the corrupt Ukraine administration because it suits your narrative. A sensible, honest person who has the integrity and desire to do some simple background research would not believe a word from that bunch. That's the difference between you and I.

You cannot spin it any other way. Both she and the Ukrainian prosecutor said the same thing. She refused to allow Lutsenko to talk with the FBI at the embassy. Trump did pot approve of her obstruction, and the disagreement between her and Trump led to her firing and his being impeached.

Marie Yovanovitch - Wikipedia

While ambassador to Ukraine, Yovanovitch was subjected to a conspiracy-driven smear campaign, amplified by President Donald Trump and his allies.[5] In May 2019, Trump abruptly recalled Yovanovitch from her post[6] following claims by Trump surrogates[7] that she was undermining Trump's efforts to pressure Ukraine to investigate his political rival, former vice president and 2020 U.S. presidential election candidate Joe Biden. Yovanovitch's removal preceded a July 2019 phone call by Trump in which he attempted to pressure Ukraine president Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate Biden.[8] Following a whistleblower complaint about the phone call and attempts to cover it up, an impeachment inquiry against Trump was initiated by the House of Representatives. Yovanovitch testified in several House committee depositions in the inquiry

Anti-corruption work and other activities

Yovanovitch was respected within the national security community for her efforts to encourage Ukraine to tackle corruption,[27] and during her tenure had sought to strengthen the Ukrainian National Anti-Corruption Bureau, which had been created to bolster efforts to fight corruption in Ukraine; these efforts earned Yovanovitch some enemies within the country.[28] In a March 2019 speech to the Ukraine Crisis Media Center, Yovanovitch said that the Ukrainian government was not making sufficient progress to combat corruption, saying: "It is increasingly clear that Ukraine's once-in-a-generation opportunity for change has not yet resulted in the anti-corruption or rule of law reforms that Ukrainians expect or deserve."[29]

As U.S. ambassador to Ukraine, Yovanovitch was the target of a conspiracy-driven smear campaign.[5][30][31] Allegations against her were then made by Trump's personal attorney Rudy Giuliani, as well as conservative commentator John Solomon of The Hill and Ukraine's then-top prosecutor, Yuri Lutsenko, who accused her of being part of a conspiracy involving anti-corruption probes in Ukraine and efforts by the Trump administration to investigate ties between Ukrainian officials and the Hillary Clinton 2016 presidential campaign.[3][32][33] Lutsenko, who has been accused by Ukrainian civil society organizations of corruption,[29] claimed that Yovanovitch, an Obama administration appointee, had interfered in Ukraine politics, had given him a "do-not-prosecute" list and was interfering in his ability to combat corruption in Ukraine.[28][32] The U.S. State Department said that Lutsenko's allegations against Yovanovitch were "an outright fabrication"[32] and indicated that they were a "classic disinformation campaign."[3

----------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was Ukraine that wanted Marie Yovanovitch gone. Yuri Lutsenko, Ukraine's prosecutor general, wanted Yovanovitch gone. As Parnas explained, Ukraine is a totally corrupt country. Everything is gained through bribery, whether it's an extra piece of meat at the butcher or a political appointment in their government, nothing is accomplished without paying off someone. There's a quid-pro-quo connected with every action their government takes and every political appointment. Lutsenko wanted Yovanovich gone because she was fighting the corruption deep inside the Ukraine government.

Lev Parnas is a firsthand witness and has documents to prove this because it was he, among others like Giuliani, that Lutsenko voiced his opposition to Marie Yovanovitch. Yuri Lutsenko insisted she be removed before he would give any assistance to Trump in investigating the Bidens. Yes, it was a quid pro quo started by Ukraine! You get rid of Yovanovitch and we'll help you out getting dirt on the Bidens.

No they don't. They have unAmerican Sean Hannity teaching them how to lie distract and divert every single day.

And a ton of his audience are our religious sect.

To hear testimony from partisan leftists any Ukrainian prosecutor who dares investigate American corruption in Ukraine is corrupt and should be fired or shut down. To hell with the lying corrupt partisan hack Americans seeking to silence investigations into real corruption. Trump did the right thing asking Zelensky to look into American corruption in Ukraine and he did the right thing firing Yovanovitch for obstructing investigations into American corruption in Ukraine.

The funny thing is, I used to be a moderate/centrist. Their behavior has me openly declared as a libertarian socialist. They don't even realize their actions are so horrific, their embrace of this hideous lie campaign, their volatile and insane inability to have a logical discussion, is driving some of us further, and further, just to upset them, to irritate and annoy them.

You have uncovered the democrat narrative praising Yovanovitch and condemning Trump, but that leftist spin is full of crap misrepresentations and perversions of the truth. Suffice it to say your source supports what I said earlier, that Yovanovitch was an honored diplomat during the whole 8 years of Obama's term. She is a democrat partisan hack who clearly showed disrespect for Trump while supporting democrat policies over Trump's policies.

This is pure agitprop. I am an underwriter, for a large company, writing for some of the richest folks in the world. I am a libertarian socialist who disagrees with the very existence of billionaires. Do you think I am unable to sufficiently do my job for these clients despite disagreeing with their stance on politics?

No. Because I need my job. So my bias is checked at the door.

Just because Yovanovitch is someone you dislike (I don't even know if she is a D or an R) does not mean she cannot be both political and an effective ambassador.

FFS you guys have jumped right off the cliff.

No Marke, you cited Wikipedia and tried to make a lie out of the factual information contained in it. I corrected your lies, that's all.

It's my opinion that a bunch of his evangelical supporters don't worry about their own sins. Probably cheat on their wives. Probably make way less money than they feel they deserve. Probably feel helpless as their kids grow up and are Democrats, gay or in interracial relationships.

Political party does not matter in analyzing the facts. Joe Biden bragged about forcing the Ukraine president to fire Viktor Shokin for supposedly not being aggressive in investigating corruption in Ukraine. That was a huge lie and Joe Biden was criminally wrong for doing that for many reasons. First, it was none of his business how Ukraine was conducting investigations into internal corruption. Second, it was wrong for him to threaten to withhold massive amounts of promised US aid if the president did not fire Shokin. Third, it was the corruption of Burisma and its owner Mykola Zlochevsky which were the subject of concern among other nations and which Biden accused Shokin of not pursuing aggressively enough, and yet Burisma was the corrupt company his son worked for. Furthermore, Shokin had seized Zlochvesky's assets in early February 2016, initiating a firestorm of activity between Burisma officials (including Hunter Biden and Devon Archer) and US government officials in the State Department and in the Obama administration. Within days Joe Biden was calling the Ukrainian president demanding he fire Shokin, and Shokin was fired that same month.

Let me try again. Are you saying Yovanovitch did not serve in the Obama administration for 8 years? Did Obama ever fire any former ambassadors under Bush? If so, why did he not fire Yovanovitch unless she served him well?

Would you care to answer my question?

Would you care to answer my question?

What question? Could Yovanovitch have been effective serving Trump in spite of political ideology? Yes. Could she have also, on the other hand, undermined Trump's foreign policy in favor of her own ideas of what was right? Obviously. Trump did not need Yovanovitch or goofuses like Vindman correcting his foreign policy and conducting their own instead.

Isn't that natural though? Thre more extreme right the Republicans go the more vocal and numerous the far left has to be.
