    Who benefits from investgating CrowdStrike?

The intention of the Trump administration of asking the Ukraine government to investigate CrowdStrike is something that has sort of fallen off the map of importance. Everyone is talking about Hunter Biden and Burisma, but what about CrowdStrike?

So I ask, who stands to benefit by any investigation by the Ukraine government of CrowdStrike?

As often is with Trump, the answer is Putin. Crowdstrike conspiracy theory "being perpetrated and propagated by the Russian security services" states that Ukraine hacked DNC servers and not Russia. Trump wanted to revive this CT and pretend like it has legs.

This may also help him and Putin to disguise / combat upcoming Putin interference in 2020 election.

I would love to hear from Trump supporters too because an investigation into CrowdStrike was part of the trilogy of demands laid out by Trump to Zelensky. They can talk the talk around Hunter Biden, they can spin the yarns about Burisma, but there's no way that any investigation into CrowdStrike could be made relevant other than the fact that it benefits Putin.

CrowdStrike is 1/3 of the equation here. If one prong of the fork they're trying to prick into the Bidens isn't valid or logical, neither are the other two.

Democrats = Desperately craving more Nothing Burgers

But this one - like all those before - will not satisfy their hunger.

    Trump til 2025.

Those who must endlessly trash Trump are like the angry drunk looking for a bar fight - they're addicted to more than merely alcohol, but attention and adrenalin as well.

The point is, we are dealing with Trump and his anger over being labeled a Russian plant, and the alleged beneficiary of Russian support with his knowing and willful cooperation. That some (not all 17 after all) of the listed US "Intelligence Agencies" reported Russian efforts on his behalf, and then there was the whole "collusion/conspiracy" narrative...when he KNEW he had nothing to do with any of it.

So how then to blame him for not trusting once "trusted sources" of intelligence, when he is seeking clarity of information regarding this "CrowdStrike" issue?

Moreover, Biden openly admitted "quid pro quo" regarding a demand that a foreign official be "fired in the next six hours or NO AID!" There is evidence (regardless of how corrupt the investigator was alleged to be) the investigation involved Burisma Holdings, a corrupt business organization who hired Biden's son as a Director while Biden was not only VP, but assigned to handle Ukraine by Obama.

The mere fact that Biden was in competition for the Democrat nomination should not have made him immune from such investigation. Was Hillary immune from the Comey investigation, or Trump from the secret "collusion" investigation?

Arguing that those were "Americans investigating Americans" is disingenuous. When it comes to investigations taking place in foreign nations it requires that the country seeking ask the host country to investigate, and/or ask if American investigator's can assist/participate.

Making much of this effort IMO is just partisan confirmation bias.

If I stop responding it doesn't mean I've conceded the point or agree with you. It only means I've made my point and I don't mind you having the last word. Please wait a few minutes before "quoting" me. I often correct errors for a minute or two after I post before the final product is ready.

Wrong. While Mueller could not prove "criminal conspiracy" between Trump and Russians (the middle man, Roger Stone, is convicted for obstructing the investigation by the way), Mueller DID establish a lot of sharing of information, Trump welcoming their help, Russians conducting multi-prong pro-Trump campaign, Trump being aware of their leaks and planning his own campaign around those.

As Trump is well aware, as well as those who heard Impeachment testimonies, this "CrowdStrike issue" is nothing but Russian propaganda.

Wrong again. The case against Burisma was dormant at that time. Firing Shokin would only INCREASE chances of the investigation to be reopened.

Correct, but as we know from all the testimony, Trump did not care about investigation. He only cared about smearing Biden via public announcement. Same applies to CrowdStrike. Trump and his "team" did not expect or care about actual investigation.

On a side note, those that actually want investigation do NOT want any public announcements about them. They rather not alert potential witnesses and suspects, and instead conduct the investigations under the radar. There is a reason that law enforcement never wants to comment on an "ongoing investigation".
