Nay as one Old Line State that was a part of the Old Confederacy of racism and secession has gone completely blue in recent elections. Other Old Line States of the original states have converted to Red States and haven't come back from that as Virginia has done so successfully and awesomely. Virginia has rejected racism and the contemporary fascism of Putin-Trump & Rowers that you guys are in your closeted state of the ancient past.

He's going to win because we have a roaring economy, great job growth, more secure border, new trade deals, have bumped off top terrorists, are winding down interminable wars and on and on. Example A

Observers quickly noted Parnas's changing stories and failure to line up with the FBI indictment. In November 2019, associates of Parna's said he spoke to them of having privately with Trump in late 2018, at a Hanukah party, about Ukraine, and that he was tasked by "the big guy" with a secret "James Bond" type mission to get the Bidens.

Now he says (to the NYT) he has never spoken directly with Trump about the Ukraine, but has been in a room where Giuliani and Trump were conversing over a phone.

Example B

He denied he ever worked on behalf of any Ukrainian officials

His federal indictment, however, explicitly said he was working on behalf of a Ukrainian official long before the Biden's came up (May or June of 2018), who wanted the Ukraine ambassador out of a job. In other words, Parna's agenda to remove the US ambassador was far older than Trump's interest or the Bidens (and makes one wonder who this official was and why he wanted her shipped home).

Example C

He claimed Nunes met with Shokin, the former prosecutor fired.

Nunes vehemently denies it and is suing the reporter to published Parnas accusation. (A source close to Shoken has also denies it.)

Example D

Parnas has previously said he met Trump at a Super-PAC in mid 2018 and informed Trump that the ambassador was bad news, causing Trump to want to get rid of her. Nothing was said about the Biden's at that dinner.

Here's the problem: Parnas is more than a crook trying to mitigate his prosecution, he's a contradictory show-boater whose been caught in so many conflicting assertions and screwed up dates that he is a joke.

So this is the "smoking gun"?

More like an empty water pistol, methinks.

OK so here is the problem with Lev as a witness. I need to hear more "he had to know" testimony like I need a hole in the head.

Pence: "He had to know." Really, how is it that Pence had to know? Pence is the most uncurious person I have ever seen. I have seen 2x4's with more curiosity. Did you talk to him Lev? When, do you have any documentation?
Barr: "He had to know" Really, how is it that Barr had to know Lev? Did you talk with him directly? Meet him, confer with him? Do you have the records of such communications.

The things Lev can document that can be corroborated are worthwhile evidence. So the documents, the phone records are good stuff. Other than that, he is just a spurned Trumplette now, a donor that tried to wedge himself into the Trump orbit and got used for his trouble. There are more credible witnesses that have offered testimony to virtually everything Lev can testify to. But the phone records and documents were secured by SDNY, and Lev had to get them back from SDNY. So that stuff can be very valuable. Its not been fabricated by Lev.

We need people to testify that get us closer to Trump, not father away. We need Bolton, Mulvaney, Duffey, Blair at least and only after that Lev might be useful. In fact, now that we have the Rudy letter to Zalinsky, Rudy does finally become a worthy target as a witness AND then Lev. But to leave Lev hung out there in space I doubt gets us anywhere. Interesting TV.

When an Administration is up to its arse in criminals and Corruption don't expect to find many Eagle Scouts as Witnesses, noting that many a Hitman has turned State's evidence and put his Crime Boss in jail. Therefore, this idea that Parnas's testimony is not credible because of his indictments is a thin argument because all that's needed is corroboration and with Bolton and all the rest singing the same tune like a chorus in Perfect Harmony, it all fits together whereupon one can draw only one inescapable conclusion that the articles of impeachment are 100% true

Bolton had already been ordered to ignore any subpoena by Trump under his made up “absolute immunity” doctrine. Courts have not been kind to that assertion so far.
