Lev Parnas is now Trump's worst nightmare

The whole thing is a boring spectacle with an outcome that's been known from the beginning. The Dems have utterly failed in their frantic efforts to cook up fairytales about Trump and now the reckoning is about to arrive. The Dems have never gotten over their psychic shock at losing to Trump last time. The fun part will be seeing their reaction after they lose again. It ought to be equal parts amusing and sad.

The House had NO fact witnesses outside of Sondland who helped Trump, not them. Now, they're whining for the Senate to do the job they utterly failed to do. It would be like asking the jury in a trial to start considering new evidence after the trial is over and they are deliberating. The GOP should call for an immediate vote, dismiss the nonsense and get back to work. Don't indulge these Democrat liars another minute.

Democrats got sloppy. They sacrificed a thorough investigation because their goal is not to protect the Constitution, despite Pelosi's constant declarations. Their goal is to stop Trump from appointing judges. Period.
Without the judiciary to do the Democrats' bidding, they will have to work with Republicans to pass legislation.
 
Nah just another bunch B.S. probably why Pelosi held the articles they were not done framing trump yet!!

They weren't called. Bolton was free to testify. The real problem is that there is no case; none, nada, zip. Yet, the Dems cling to airy dreams and vapid fantasies of Trump being removed. He won't be removed, either by the coup or by the election. They're just going to have to live with that and if they go off the deep end, so be it.

Here’s what happened. As the trial began, other senators, backed by the leaders, agreed to a set of preliminary rules. Under these rules, the two sides would first present their cases, and senators would have an opportunity to question the House trial managers and the White House lawyers. Then any senator could make a motion to dismiss the articles or to call witnesses. Senators did bring both of those motions. Republicans defeated the motion to dismiss the articles, and they succeeded in calling three witnesses. As provided under the 1999 rules, the witnesses were first deposed; House managers then decided not to bring the witnesses before the Senate.

It's a rule that they must be deposed, regardless of if they were deposed in the house or not. You have been shown to be absolutely wrong. And yet I still know for a fact that you will not change your opinion on this. Because your opinion isn't based on facts or evidence or a search for the truth. At which point you would be "screaming" about some other made up slight. It didn't/doesn't matter what the dems do, you will complain and act as though it was incorrect. If they had stalled the impeachment hearings and spent years in court to get every single interview and document they could have gotten, then you'd make up crap about how they wanted to extend it in to the election or something else. If they brought him in right now and deposed him and tried handing it over to the senate you'd complain that they can't do that during the trial or some other bull****.

Absolutely a dishonest statement by you. Bolton was waiting to see what the courts had to say about Congress’ subpoena power. I don’t care if Trump stays or goes, I just wish he would stop tweeting.

Yet, the Dems claim that Trump obstructed Congress by asking the opinion of the courts, something he is 100% entitled to do. Turley made this point quite clearly in his testimony.

And now they're having remorse about not calling Bolton and thinking the Senate should do their work for them. That train has left the station. But, if they want Bolton, then let's have the WB and Schiff testify under oath. They are material witnesses. Maybe Quid Pro Joe and Hunter, too.

The WB instigated the whole affair. Of course he's a material witness. Schiff's office met the WB three weeks before the complaint was filed. Schiff. of course, lied about that. He's a material witness, too. We should all hear about what coordination went on while the Dems were cooking up this latest fraud.
