Guns banned at pro gun rally!

I supplied a link (and there are many more) describing federal, state and local enforcement of gun laws including home "raids". You are certainly aware that LEOs (not me personally) enforce the laws.

How is it racist to acknowledge that most gun nutters in America are white? Not that black people don't own guns, I own guns and nearly every person I know owns at least one gun, we're just not threatening to shoot cops because we don't like laws. And when we do, we should rightly be called out for it. If you don't like the laws challenge them in court or win elections and change them like the people fighting for legalization. Growing up I knew a million guys who said if the cops came through their door they'd open up on them and you know what very few of them ever did and the ones that did are dead or in jail and the world shrugged and moved on so your tough talk means little to me. The laws will change and you will either bend or you wont, either way the world will shrug and move on.

Yes that's what I am asking you. Are you aware that LEOs are also setting sanctuary 2nd amendment cities? Kinda hard to take my guns when LEOs will refuse to do it. Now what's your next move to disarm me?

You ought to forget about "gun nutters" and concentrate on the criminal misuse of firearms: I don't think you want to compare blacks vs whites in that evaluation. In fact, whites in the USA, have rates of gun violence that are similar to whites in nations that have more gun control.

Replace people who won't do their job? Or bring another police force or federal agency in? America is lousy with police forces. This is an easy game.

No, I would not be okay with that but I wouldn't respond with violence because it's less likely to produce a positive or desirable outcome. Your problem however is a bit different in that public support for your position is weakening day by day, year by year.

Why would I be afraid of comparing rates? I'm not some race loon who thinks gun violence is inherent in blacks or gun suicide inherent in white men. These are cultural phenomenon, influence by many different factors. What is indisputable is black homicide rates and white suicide rates would fall if we had better gun control.

so you claim you own guns but you are gleeful that the anti gun movement seems to be gaining members (mainly through illegal immigrants, and those suckling on the public teats)? proves to me that the anti gun movement is based on politics and has nothing to do with any legitimate desire for public safety.

I can't speak for anyone else's motivations only my own. And I don't care to prove anything to you, you're free to feel however you want about the anti gun movement, I couldn't care less. I do however actually happen to care about gun violence because I've actually lost friends and family to gun violence. And I own a gun to protect my family from actual violent threats, not laws I happen to disagree with. So my views on guns are bit complicated. To be honest I'm not sure I'd even comply with a gun ban myself. I certainly dont comply with drug laws. But if the cops did come for my guns I'd do what I used to do for weed. Fight it in court and pay my fine or do my time if it came to that. That's nothing new. Do I think gun control will curb violence? Yes. Will I advocate for laws I might not necessarily intend to follow myself? Selfishly, yes. Will I celebrate when they come for your guns? Absolutely.

I'm pro gun. I own several as well as a concealed carry license. If I'm not allowed to carry into a concert, why should I be allowed to carry at a rally?

I went to jury selection this morning. Guess what? No weapons were allowed.

My only venture into California was to Lake Tahoe while staying in Reno. I guess they celebrate on plenty of other days. Is this anywhere near Napa? I bet they endorse wine consumption.
