Trump's official legacy will now, and forever, include 'Impeached.' He has no 'Executive Privilege' to change this historical fact. The House has met it's Constitutional duty....Thoughts ?

What happens if Trump is re-elected?

It was inevitable. Since the day he entered office he was impeachable because of emoluments violations, and Republicans responded by looking the other way. If you were Trump, wouldn't you conclude that impeachment didn't apply to you?

And as soon as Trump is acquitted, it will be the first time worthless articles were presented without a single witness and only partisan votes.

It will be filed with all the other failed attempts from the day he took office.

In U.S. politics, nothing is inevitable and nothing is permanent.

It's all partisan, political :bs

It is a rather tainted victory for democrats who declared from the beginning they intended to impeach Trump
The fact that they finally did impeach Trump by suspending rules of law and due process is at best a hollow victory.

It would be historic as the only president to be impeached and reelected.

Depending on the House makeup there will be another attempt to impeach him in his second term.

If so, what exactly does that mean in any real sense?

Bill Clinton is "forever impeached," too. But what has it mattered?

No laws were suspended and they followed legal procedures for impeachment. The fact you are utterly ignorant of the impeachment process is your problem. Take a civics course ok?

Fun that you lack the ability to ask yourself, "Why weren't witnesses presented"?

Oh, wait. It's not actually fun.

No "rules of law" (whatever the hell they are) were suspended nor can you cite any that were.

Why do you promote a Marxist USA?

Of course it is. Everything is partisan now.

We all knew the Democrat controlled house of reps would impeach and that the Republican controlled Senate would acquit. Never was a doubt.

It is just a wonder if when you go into a restaurant now if they don't ask if you want to sit on the Republican side or the Democrat side.

Just watched the democrats finest put Pelosi one step closer to being President Pelosi. folks are bichn about billionaires buying an election they spending their money! SHES SPENDING OURS ! WHAT LOW LIFES!!

I think the senate has to say he's impeached before he's impeached.

This will go down in history as a purely partisan attempt at interfering in our election and attempting to place a blemish on Trumps Presidency. Trumps only crime was winning the election fairly. I don't think Dems have any clue about how normal people view them. November will be another shock for dems who think everyone is with them. They aren't.

Who the hell knows what 'will happen' should that actually occur ? What we know 'won't happen', is the fact his legacy, now, and forever, will include 'Impeached', as clearly stated in the thread OP.

Irrelevant to the 'facts' presented in the thread OP.

When he is re-elected, the terminology will be changed from "impeached" to "Exonerated".
