No medical procedure, and no drug is ever 100% safe; that's why every pack contains a cautionary leaflet of possible contraindications. This is scaremongering for those who enjoy moral indignation as a pastime. Until, of course, the life-saving drug is administered and all the outrage is conveniently forgotten.

The only vaccines that are made in human cells are chickenpox (varicella), rubella, and hepatitis A, in addition to one of the available rabies vaccines.

The viruses for these vaccines were grown in cells taken from elective terminations of pregnancies, which took place in the early 1960s. Since then, the cell lines for these vaccines have been maintained in the lab and no further sources of fetal cells are necessary to make these vaccines.

They were originally harvested from aborted fetuses, but no longer require abortion to maintain. There should be no religious exemption for vaccinating for public schools. Public schools shouldn't be put at greater risk due to the superstitions and/or anti-science hysterics of some. If you don't want to vaccinate your kids, send them to private schools that don't require vaccination or home school.

As scientists studied these viruses in the lab, they found that the best cells to use were the fetal cells mentioned above. When it was time to make a vaccine, they continued growing the viruses in the cells that worked best during these earlier studies.

There should be no religious exemptions allowed for public schools. There are some pretty extreme Christian sects who may be against immunizations, but they aren't the only religion that has pockets of crazies in them. Public schools shouldn't be put at greater risk because someone cannot abide by proven science. Washington just recently put through a law removing exemptions for immunizations for public school, and that is right and proper.

I"ve been thoroughly vaccinated when I was in the Navy.

Thing is, a friend of mine's daughter went into anaphylactic shock immediately following an HPV vax and began to experience
seizures to which she still suffers.

Therefore, I'm against mandatory vaccinations, but I'm not against vaccinations in principle.

I"m against mandated vaccinations on libertarian grounds. $4 billion has been awarded in the vaccine injury courts, paid for by taxpayers, and a law made manufacturers exempt from liability ( as long as they followed protocols ).

Since they are a risk, even small, it is my view that vaccinations cannot be forced.


The only people risking your children are those with infectious diseases, which occur in all classes people, vaccinated and unvaccinated.

There is no proof that vaccinations make your child healthier than non vaccinated.

History is replete with outbreaks in highly vaccinated populations.

Vaccines may be reducing disease in some categories, but autoimmune diseases and other chronic illnesses are on the rise, and but the historical stats show that vaccines were introduced long after a couple of centuries of decline, and the diseases were on their way out, anyway, noting that right alongside those decline stats, are diseases for which there are no vaccines, and thus the "proof" for their effectiveness is thin

And, whatever they are doing, but one thing they are NOT doing is making kids healthier.
