Documents released by House Democrats Tuesday show Connecticut congressional candidate Robert F. Hyde in contact with an associate to President Donald Trump’s personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, purportedly relaying information about the location of U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch, a central figure in the impeachment inquiry into the president.

“Mr. Hyde … sent a series of text messages suggesting that he had Ambassador Yovanovitch under physical surveillance in Kyiv and that ‘They are willing to help if we/you would like a price,’ ” according to a letter sent by House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam B. Schiff.

House Dems release new impeachment evidence related to indicted Giuliani associate - POLITICO

The material released on Tuesday contains several handwritten notes, emails, encrypted messages, and other documents that underscore the close relationship between Parnas and Giuliani, who was actively pursuing an effort last year to push the Ukrainian government to announce investigations targeting Trump’s political rivals. The documents also complicate one of Trump’s oft-stated defenses of his actions toward Ukraine.

A previously undisclosed May 2019 letter from Giuliani to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is among the tranche of documents the Democrat-led committee made public on Tuesday.

In the letter, which was obtained from Parnas’ cell phone that was turned over the Intelligence Committee on Sunday, Giuliani asked for a half-hour meeting with Zelensky as the former New York City mayor was pursuing investigations targeting former Vice President Joe Biden — and Giuliani made clear that he was acting with Trump’s “knowledge and consent” and in his capacity as a “personal” attorney for the president. Trump, though, has stated that he was acting on behalf of the U.S. government when he allegedly pushed for the investigations.

New evidence coming out tonight from the notes made public just a few hours ago of Lev Parnas regarding Guiliani and Trump trying to get Zelenski to investigate Biden. This new evidence is just coming out as I write this and it shows definite notes to the effect of Guiliani on behalf of Trump urging Zelenski to announce investigation.

I tried to find some video or links that show what is being said right not but it is not out yet.

Yes, I have a theory: Institutional protection.

Look, just think of what it would do to public perception of the entire executive branch if everyone in the Obama administration who took advantage of loopholes to legally engage in corrupt actions and who outright engaged in illegal actions were prosecuted.

Imagine the Senate heads that would roll if James Wolfe had actually been charged with leaking classified information to his journalist sweetheart instead of just getting a slap on the wrist for "lying to the FBI".

Imagine if it was admitted that FISA court judges knowingly allowed Title 1 surveillance on American citizens when the applications to do so were based on false and withheld information.

These would be scandals of such wide reaching scope as to possibly permanently damaging the credibility of our entire government...all three branches.

So instead, the DOJ...the FBI...the FISA court...push stuff under the rug, promise to do better, institute some "reforms". Anything to mollify the public while not requiring them to actually prosecute and punish the corrupt people. Congress? The House and the Senate? They skate without being held accountable for anything.

That's why Hillary got off. That's why Collyer was allowed to retire, even though she KNEW about illegal NSA database searches and didn't ask why they were happening. That's why so many from the Obama administration have been allowed to walk free. Like Comey walking in the Redwoods. That's why so many still in the executive branch are still free to to whatever damage to the President they can manage.

That's why that huge list of guilty people have been given a pass.
