Democratic Presidential Debate - 14JAN20

Would you prefer a replay of the GOPutin debates of 2015/2016?
They did at least have a POC participating in them at this time

I assume you're speaking to us from an alternate reality.

Yes, the "alternate reality" most people know as "reality". All the smart, educated and sane people know I think Trump is a moron....an F'ing moron, but I also don't see much coming from the Left as an alternative. That's how screwed up politics has become. IMO, the best way to cut through the BS is to see where people are putting their money where their mouths are - places like this: US Elections

President 2020

Democratic Nominee

If you are as smart and knowledgeable as you think you are, you'd bet on Trump to lose and make yourself a lot of money instead of sitting on your buttocks blowing smoke.

Your Indiana Senate race was a very poor example, considering Donnelly beat a most worthless ‘Mourdock’ in 2012. You forgot to mention that NONE of the Democrats that flipped House seats in 2018 were ‘Justice’. All 43 were Moderates, the reason D’s have the House. The ones now in danger due to leftist extremism.

Let’s use two bar magnets under paper and iron filings on top. Place the north poles of the two magnets toward each other. That’s what Sanders has done with each Democratic candidate. No overlap; no cohesion; the same bitter feelings his Weaver camp developed before the Iowa caucuses in 2016.

Not many Justice Democrats faced off against Republicans last go around. However, that will all change in time. I also find it hard to believe all 43 Democrats who flipped House seats ran Republican-lite campaigns. I'm willing to bet some of them ran on Medicare-for-all and other popular left wing ideas.

Oh look, I can make a bet on "Hillary Clinton" winning.

Almost all of the polls show Biden, Sanders, Buttigieg, and Warren ahead of Trump 1-5pts.

Also the polling on Medicare for all, Green New Deal, Gun Control, Ending the wars abroad, etc. All of them show a Democratic advantage.

Not sure what you mean by me spinning when I'm just citing data?

You mean the part about Republicans making it about bull**** like emails and this go around looks like Burisma?

How is that spin when we see they are losing on the issues so they tug on strings of bull**** to rile people up?

Scroll up; the poll where people are actually putting their money where their mouths are says Trump wins over Biden.

The problem with the polls you are quoting is that they are pure opinion, not guarantees of who will show up on election day. Gambling polls are by people who are putting skin in the game and, if they are American voters, will show up on Election Day.

I'll just go on record and say this.. if young people vote in PA, MI, WI, and OH Trump loses. If young people still can't be arsed to give a **** who runs the country, Republicans continue running it into the pockets of their donors and into the ground for everyone else.

Just starting by me, will be watching the debate.

IF. Sure.

....and win a ton of money if it happens! A $2 bet will gain you $98 if you win!!!! Go for it!

And if Snoopy wins? Early retirement.

Woot!

FWIW, I've already won half my money back betting that Trump would remain President at the end of 2019. I have 20% of my initial money on Biden to win the nomination, 30% that Trump would be the nominee. Of course, the payout on those bets varies widely; 78 cents bet gains a $1 if Biden wins nomination and 91 cents bet gains a $1 if Trump wins the nomination. 50 Cents wins a dollar if Trump wins the election. I only have 10% of my money on that happening. Mostly I hedged my bets and expect to come out ahead by 20%+

Seems like Sanders is getting beat up good over NAFTA right now due to his climate change stance and not supporting a better USMCA deal.

I like Bernie, but not for President. The Senate needs diversity of voices to keep them centered. Bernie is the Rainbows and Unicorns guy.

Seems like he's beating the others up, and he's right.

What you conservative republicans call getting beat up, Democrats and Independents call a debate. I’m sure you don’t recognize a debate after what your GOparty did in 2016.

FWIW; I like Mayor Pete, but he's too young.

Biden and Bernie are too old plus Biden has too much baggage.

Warren is as old, but she has a lot of energy without the need for Adderall, but her baggage train is growing too including a cartload of inconsistency.

I like Klobuchar but she's a dark horse and unlikely to win.

Same for Steyer. I think Klobuchar would be better than him, but he's white and male sooooo.....yes, it ain't right, but it is what it is.

As pointed out before, I'm playing the odds for entertainment and the odds say Biden for the nomination and Trump for the win...but it's a loonnnng way to November.

Seems like he's beating the others up, and he's right.

No he isn’t. The poster you responded to is a trump supporter. Naive Bernie Bros fall for that business every time.

I'm disappointed Bernie and Elizabeth haven't been able to get on the same page on this story about Bernie saying a woman couldn't win. By not doing so, they have left it where he says he didn't and she says he did, making one of them a liar.

Yes he is. You have a problem with my telling a trump supporter he's wrong? I watched it, and I think Bernie won the argument. People who disagree with him might disagree who won. Bernie is in a difficult position where probably most Democrats disagree; but that's where he belongs, when he's doing the right thing against a majority. Again.

I don’t have the time or interest to show you that none of those 43 moderates were daft enough to run on m4A or free this or that. If you want to lose all of the swing states this decade, keep doing that.

Yes he is. You have a problem with my telling a trump supporter he's wrong?

I have a problem with naive Bernie Bros believing the lies coming from the Sanders camp 2.0, beginning with the lying asshole Jeff Weaver.

Why should Warren lie for Sanders?

Of the two who do you think is lying?

Good lord this CNN panel sucks. There is too much questioning geared towards making personalities fight instead of policy positions.

Every question towards Sanders is framed in the negative.
