You'll have to find an example. The post I read suggested 'someone' reevaluate CNN as a news source. (Which is pretty civil even in mixed company). I didn't see any name calling but like I said, you're the victim here. Maybe it was intended as a jab at you and I'm missing it.

I'm sorry to hear that, given that you are a smart guy who deserves better. But the latest poll shows 75% of Americans saying that the economy is at least somewhat good to very good, so, in terms of electoral strategy, the Dems need to change it lest they won't convince these 75%.

And per a previous discussion, that's been factored into his approval rating.

Hillary got as many votes as she did, including the 3 million more than Trump that she brags about, because Bernie bent over backwards to rally for an ungrateful, undeserving corporate hack.

Look, Sanders is more right than he is wrong. His record on the Middle-East, civil rights, secular issues, drugs, and whatnot is stellar. Nobody here can seriously dispute that.

But his advocacy for outlawing private insurance, giving government entitlements to illegal immigrants, and his promise to declare warfare on Big Whatever in what is an objectively good economy make him un ... ****ing ... electable. You are deluding yourself if you think people in Florida, Arizona, Ohio, North Carolina, and Wisconsin have any interest in voting for that.
Exactly. But see, Bernie supporters *are* delusional. They keep saying that he is the most popular politician in America when at best he gets 20% of the Dems and Dem-leaning independents, therefore, half the country, so, if you count the other half who demonize Bernie, he is "popular" for at most 10% of all Americans. Even Trump is more popular than that. Even Hillary Clinton, as evidenced by her soundly beating her as far as the popular vote, in the 2016 Dem primaries.

I know exactly what a classical liberal is.

    A socially moderate Republican.

Bernie Sanders is the Trump of the Left (except that unfortunately Trump is not a loser).
This said, Trump is even worse so if the Dems commit the folly of nominating Sanders I'll still vote for him against Trump because I'm not an imbecile like the Bernie or Bust crowd.
But I think he is just marginally less bad than Trump. By a hair. I think that his potential to harm America is only a bit smaller than Trump's.

i first reacted to this like, "there we go, Sanders is being divisive again and is damaging the Democratic ticket." But when I thought more about it, I thought, I do know that Warren is way more of a liar than Sanders. I profoundly dislike Sanders but I've never called him a liar. Warren? Not so. Therefore, chances are that Warren is lying.
