Just As Trump Promised, Mexico Is Paying For His Wall

First you secure our border then you charge them to come over. Just like any toll road or toll bridge. If they want to work in this country they need to get a work visa and have job. No more sneaking across and then seeing whose job they can take. No more working for cash and not paying taxes forcing our middle class to pay their way. No more working for less than minimum wage driving wages down and destroying everything our unions fought for. I have no problem bringing in workers if we have plenty of jobs. There are millions of law abiding people all over the world waiting patiently to come to our country legally. Time to get back to legal immigration by law abiding people who made America great.

Trump has been able to get the immigration problem under control and all leftists can complain about is the cost of the wall, which is a drop in the bucket compared to what illegal immigration cost us.

That the asshole lied to the American people to begin with about Mexico paying for his wall. Only an idiot would believe that Mexico was going to pay for Trump's wall. But you know Trump, he loves the uneducated people. :lol:

You think a wall will secure your border?
Google 'San Ysidro border crossing' and see how many legal crossings there are in one day at one crossing. Juan doesn't wade the river with his clothes bundled on his head anymore, his whole family walks or drives across to go shopping or visit family or just for a long weekend and they just stay. That's how illegal immigration happens nowadays. But hey, build your wall. Your money, your choice. Might be other ways to apply resources, more effective ways, but a nice, shiny wall sure looks good to a certain segment.

No one honestly believed Mexico was ever going to pay for the wall even Trump supporters.

And also none of us cares whether Mexico gave us one single centavo for the wall

Hey, Pelosi is letting him get away with this. When he complained he would not sign any budget that would not allow him to transfer funds out of the military, she gave it to him. Why? I don't know! He was powerless to stop her, so what was her problem?

Must be that 71% drop in illegal immigration that has you all worked up. I don't think most cares who pays for the wall. But most do care about criminals, drug dealers, and human traffickers having Democrat support and Democrat sanctuary cities to hide in.

Now that this is all changing and these illegals don't have free rein to come across at will, you are more upset Mexico isn't paying for it while your candidates promote free tax payer provided healthcare for illegals.

I wonder how much money and how many jobs will stay in the USA thanks to the new trade deal with Mexico? That Trump pushed for. And got passed.
Unlike the last clown, whose best move was shipping pallets of cash to the rest of the world. Then telling us how “Those jobs just aren’t coming back”.

I'm not sure what your point is, here? It seems illegal immigration is as high as usual, then it recently spiked super under Trump several months ago? But now it's back to being as high as usual? I'm lost, here.

I think its good not to be anti Trump all the time. Sometimes the other party has good ideas and its best to let them have it hopefully quietly. Don't chose to die on every single hill.

Of course. Yeah, Trump disgust me. But I still would not let him abuse Congress' budget authority, if I were Pelosi. If he wants money, let him earn it like every other White House Chief Executive has - play politics.

But it's beyond that - he's shown he can't be trusted with Congress' money.
