As hinted at last night, we now see it sort of confirmed. The targets will not be American. They will be Trumpian.

Iranian adviser drops chilling hint of attacks on Trump properties | Daily Mail Online

Mar-a-Lago in the firing line: Iranian presidential adviser posts list of Donald Trump's properties in chilling hint of an attack on his real estate empire - after Iran put an $80 million bounty on his head

Real or not, the question must be asked.

Whose willing to die for him?

Now scraping the scum UNDER the bottom of the barrel.

Oh goodie. Lets cheer for people getting hurt or losing their jobs.

You know, the Iranians may be more sophisticated than we realize:

(from the article)

'We have unseated an American President in the past. We can do it again,' he said, presumably referring to Jimmy Carter who was brought low by the Iran hostage crisis which began in 1979.

But back to the OP main topic. After seeing the joke thread on this topic, it occurred to me that the Iranians can indeed wage economic war against Trump personally. If they start targeting Trump properties, Trump will take an economic hit. So who knows? Maybe terrorism against Trump properties may be part of the Iranian strategy. I suspect just a serious sounding verbal PR campaign simply claiming to act against Trump properties could cause a business downturn.

We haven't had a President with personal wealth & business interests around the globe, so we're in uncharted territory here.

But on another note, what is this below from the article? Trump is now threatening Iraq? I think he's losing it!

Trump has also warned he will demand billions of dollars in compensation from Iran's neighbour Iraq or impose 'sanctions like they've never seen before' if Baghdad goes through with expelling U.S. troops - which could spark an ISIS resurgence.

The sanctions would make those on Iran look 'tame', Trump said, adding: 'We have a very extraordinarily expensive air base that's there... we're not leaving unless they pay us back for it.'
I'm at a loss here. Predictably, it is not going over well with our allies:

Today German foreign minister Heiko Maas said threatening Iraq was 'not very helpful'. Germany has a small contingent of troops there training Iraqi forces.

Like the American Embassy in Iraq, Mar-a-Lago is part of the USA. An attack on the USA could be considered an act of war. Just FYI.

An indisputable act of war has already been committed, with the drone strike on an Iranian military official. Now we're just waiting to see what route the Iranian return fire will take.

Maybe the Iranians will attack college campuses, refugee camps at the borders, and San Francisco, and the citizens of Trump Fan Nation will be happy.

The indisputable act of war was attacking our embassy. Pick one of the last three. The last one somebody got their hand slapped. The first two not so much.

So we are officially at war with who now?

First off, that wasn't the action of a state's actors against another state. A drone strike on a state official is.

He's the one who brought up 52 historic sites for the 52 hostages. If he's going to remind them of the past lessons of history, he may need to learn a few too.

He'll leave Office (hopefully in Nov), and we'll be picking-up the pieces for years if not decades.

Oh goodie. Lets cheer for people getting hurt or losing their jobs.

It's not a matter of "cheering," it's reality. Iran will strike back, and it won't be with aircraft carriers and the newest fighter jets. They will strike back by proxy and by attacks against civilian targets. If you're an Iranian government official following American politics closely (as Iranian government officials absolutely are), the most logical targets would be Trump's businesses.

Welp...were we picking up the pieces for years or decades after installing the Shah?

Possibly a smart move on Iran's part, as attacking Trump properties will cause at least some division among Americans.

Especially if they aren't properties protected by US military in any way.

"Why should we go to war to retaliate because a hotel with Trump's name on it in Turkey got attacked?" "it isn't even US territory"

And such.

LOL!!

Too bad Trump has insurance.

Not sure how many people will be thrilled about being around country clubs and factories specifically considered military targets by a hostile foreign government, but I guess we'll find out.

And if it appears Trump is an instigator or making this war personal, which it seems he is, and Iran portrays it as such, which they seem to be, it will give many Americans a reason to jettison the problem in November.

Right now I feel pretty confident that an Iranian or Iraqi war would cost Trump his re-election.

Bingo

Well, yes.

And Mar-a-Lago is an attack on good taste.

Just putting that out there.
