Bernie Sanders is probably going to win both the nomination and presidency...

My boss and I were talking about this today. He thinks it’s possible, but since Bernie isn’t a Democrat, I’m not convinced the DNC will be all that supportive. We’ll see.

That was a poll in MARCH of 2008, 8 months before the election. You can’t prove your dishonest analogy happened on Election Day, since it was just the opposite.

How rich of you as a Bernie Bros to tell others to vote blue no matter who when Bernie’s Cult didn’t do that in 2016 and certainly won’t do that in 2020.

BernieBrats didn’t turn out in the three crucial states of WI, MI, and PA, along with other states like FL and AZ. Nothing can be done to undo the damage done by these assholes who voted turd party, for trump, or were one of the 94 million who stayed home.

They threw the first punches again this time, and I will speak back to these punks this time. Notice how sleazy the Bernie Bros are about laughing at what Trump did to Biden with Ukraine, yet still call for impeachment. Trump has chosen his McGovern 2.0 in Sanders as Nixon chose McGovern in 1972.

SO SICK of the Hillary nut lies.

For the umpteenth time: no one campaigned harder for Hillary than Bernie, and only about 10% of his supporters didn't vote for Hillary despite how many he pulled in from outside the party, while 25% of Hillary supporters did not vote for Obama in 2008.

I have spent years writing thousands of posts about how bad trump is. As bad as trump supporters are, people like you might well be even worse. Your centrist corporatists like Biden are Hillary 2.0, trying to hand trump ANOTHER win. You had your chance and Bernie supporters united for Hillary. Now you will unite for Bernie when he's nominated. Bernie will not run third party, as if you care about the truth.

Drop the "But Hillary" defense. I don't like Hillary either. Two wrongs don't make a right. Regardless of what Hillary supporters did, these Bernie supporters were still wrong. The truth is, the IMBECILES who manned the idiotic movement called Bernie or Bust were in part responsible for the president we have today. "Only 10% of his supporters" - do you actually know how close the election was? 10% was more than enough to tilt the election.

Bernie Sanders was a spoiler, and contributed to Trump's win. It's as simple as that, even though you won't see it (get a DNA test: you may have ostrich DNA).

It’s really fun watching the food fight over on dailyKos. Their punk-ass staff attacks every Democratic candidate across the spectrum at times. However, they are very useful to me with their data-mining and analytics.

I don’t normally discuss other posters by name. Just when you think you know someone, ... The DP community is a nanocosm of today’s politics. All we do is republish the articles from other sites.

I can drive to Milwaukee every day for the convention this July. I go there for Brewer games every year. I don’t believe any of the current candidates can win ‘at this moment’. Things can change. That’s why I want a brokered convention.

Bernie wishes to make every American a part of the American the middle class. Bernie doesn't want to provide any advantages of the middle class other than to make everyone a part of the middle class.

My guess: He’s not bought by corporations and doesn’t surrender to Republicans before the debate begins under the pretence of compromise. He’s wants to bring the Dems back to FDR style policies, and not be Republican-lite losers so repulsive that Trump is a viable alternative.

Or alternatively he doesn’t have ‘D’ on his shirt, which is somehow more relevant than policy.
 
A Bernie Sanders win is not only what our country needs, but could be among the top 3 most important wins in our country's history, the most since FDR.

I dont see the DNC allowing it. I just dont. I have a friend who is hoping for a contested convention so the DNC can bring in Hillary instead of those running. She really thinks this is her time.

Actually he was always officially posted as Independent. He runs for the Democrat nomination in the years when he is running for President. In fact, he has already filed to run as an Independent for Senate in the 2024 election as he did in 2018. Actually if I were a Dem I would be getting bored with this nonsense. Either commit to the Party or not. Stop dancing back and forth over the line.

Bernie's supporters might not like this. But its the way Party politics works. If it comes down to it, unless Bernie clearly exhibits that he can beat Trump, the Dems wlll find a way to knock him out before he gains the nomination.

Time for the Dems to have an honest discussion with each other about what they want to do. MY guess is that they won't, letting this mess get all the way to the Convention before even trying to address it. If they allow Bernie to run at the top of the ticket as a self avowed Democratic Socialist he could take the entire Party down around his ears making AOC a very very lonely girl in the House. How would Tom Perez explain that one? "Lets see Tom, you let a guy that only files as a Democrat for his runs at the Presidency to take the whole Party down around his ears. Want to explain that one Tom."

The GOP has simply pocketed Bernie's Democratic Socialist claim made in June. The GOP won't pull that one out of their pocket unless Bernie is actually the nominee and then they will blitz him with it using all that campaign dough they piled up. The gutless Dems buried Bernie's announcement deep. There were a few one liners in one news cycle the day he self avowed as a Democratic Socialist and that has been it. The Dems just don't want to deal with it.
