The Swamp Queen Pelosi must be delusional. She seems to think she can dictate to the Senate how they should proceed with the impeachment trial!!! After all they years she has been in Washington how can she not know that she doesnt have any control of how the Senate will run the impeachment trial. What is really funny is the fact she is asking for a Quid Pro Quo!!!!!

Can anyone here support or believe her actions are right?
 
Poor Nan is being run by the radical base. Her only objective in impeachment was to keep her job. She knows it's political poison.

Of course her actions are "right," or justifiable which is what you're actually asking. Like the previous poster - as of the time I'm posting this - said, McConnell has said and done what he has been instructed to do by the White House. If he does not, he will be viciously attacked and slandered by the President. Taking control of the Senate and its "Republican" members by utilizing this form of vicious, unethical and borderline illegal use of the Presidential office would have the founding fathers turning over in their graves. But that's not even the point.

The point is that she's doing something entirely legal. It isn't every day a President is impeached and it isn't every decade that a President is impeached in the House are the articles aren't immediately sent to the Senate. It is a political maneuver, and a good one. That's what the party-of-Trump, which is yet to be named, is really upset about. And thus the character attacks begin. "Swamp Queen." You're very conservative? Where were you when Congress refused to consider Obama's Supreme Court nomination? Where will you be if another needs to be replaced tomorrow? What is it then, will you be choosing the partisan special of the day or what's (cough) right.

I know what you mean/ OH MY GOD, HOW DARE SHE NEGOTIATE!!!! That is so unfair, using the tools available for her to negotiate for a fair trial!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BURN HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111!!!!!!!!!!

Don't know about you, but as a woman, I get a wonderful laugh out of the misogynistic right when they refer to Nancy Pelosi using ugly names. Like in this thread, "Swamp Queen Pelosi". That and other names we've heard her called like Trump's name for her "Nervous Nancy". The projection is just stunning. Congressman Ted Lieu responded saying, "Speaker Pelosi has nerves of steel, wrapped around tungsten, coated in titanium." :lamo

Anyone that thinks that Nancy Pelosi is weak or doesn't know exactly what she's doing, are going to be very surprised. There isn't a more knowledgeable, experienced or pragmatic politician in Washington than Nancy Pelosi. Trump is going to meet the end of his presidency at the hands of a very skilled woman. 'Revenge is a dish best served cold' and women everywhere will be feeling very vindicated when Trump goes down in shame in history.

Trump's "grab them by the *****" comments, Trump's "I wouldn't mind dating my daughter" comments, Trump's "horseface" attack on Carly Fiorina, Trump's disgusting attacks on so many women, from Stormy Daniels to Rosy O'Donell.

Add in all his blatant racism, and he is guaranteed to go down in history as a disgrace. And so will the people who supported someone like this, particularly Evangelical Christians.

Does integrity matter for you? Most of us with integrity support Pelosi. She has brought concerns for a fair trial to the forefront of public discourse.

Leftists kept saying DJT had no right to due process stating the inquieries were not criminal, but political. While true, it is also equally true that any trial in the Senate IS a political process and not criminal.

I said nothing about a crime. If a president is impeached in congress, there must be a trial in the senate. If there was nothing wrong Trump would not have been impeached. McConnell is defying what should happen next. And if there is nothing to hide then witnesses should be called. So you need to deal with what happens next.
