I'm confused, Are HS kids not allowed to interact with or support politicians?
They don't seem to be wearing Hillary for President stuff in that picture... Very confused.
They also don't appear to be HS kids, or many. There's one! So I'm failing to see by your example who all those HS kids that ran around with Hillary for President stuff on them were or if they even existed just because you got triggered by the first google result you came across...

You must have missed his comment about people being taken out on stretchers, about knocking the hell out of protesters, encouraging cops not to be so gentle with suspects, about offering to pay legal bills for supporters if they got arrested. Of course the last thing wouldn’t happen because Trump doesn’t pay up. But do your homework. Simple searches will give you plenty of hits.

oh hell yes. in my (American) high school at tokyo, in the run-up to the six-day war (1967), we all wore arm bands bearing "5-10-5". in japanese it sounds "go-jew-go"

we teach our kids civics (or should) and world history. our students debate controversial topics (justification of the death penalty and the electoral college were topics of my era). we have elementary students vote with their parents and hold mock elections in their schools. we have our kids follow the democratic process to identify representatives for student government. there is the mock UN program annually. if we don't teach our kids to think for themselves they will fall victim to the likes of faux news. so yes, there is nothing wrong with kids wearing attire that promotes a political view. it should be encouraged

Well, if this is true, then that's just wrong. I have a Bernie sticker on my car; I wouldn't appreciate it if someone keyed my car or something. Same thing with this.

There's a few people at my college that wear MAGA hats openly; never felt the need to attack them. You just go on about your business.

That's the way it should be, and how it always was prior to 2016.

I'm in my mid 50's and I never thought I'd see a day when people in this country would have to fear not only for their physical safety, but fear being chastised publicly, discriminated against by store clerks, and even have to contemplate the possibly of losing their jobs, if they publicly express support for the president of the United States. Wrong doesn't begin to express how I see this.
