Boy, the Republicans sure had a conniption last night when Nadler abruptly delayed the impeachment vote for this morning.

This is a question of what goes around comes around, in other words karma's a bitch, ain't it?

What happened was the vote was supposed to be scheduled around 5:30 but the Republicans kept offering Amendment after Amendment each one absurd and it became clear to Nadler their strategy was to stretch it out so that the vote would happen after midnight so that they can claim that this important vote was done in the wee hours when nobody was watching i.e., was done secretly

Well Nadler was going to have none of that so we right before midnight he abruptly ended it rescheduling it for this morning and now the Republicans are whining. What a bunch of losers.

Paywall defeated me, but I got the gist from your post.

Losers.....lol.....this whole impeachment silliness has strengthened Trump with voters...as pridicted.

It was a plot to devise a plan by which a vote everyone already knows the result of could be mischaracterized in some way? That's absurd. It's going to be a straight party line vote whether done at 2am or at 2pm.

It will be a party line vote, seeing how the Republicans fully supported the obstruction defense. But the right does love its narratives and I have no doubt that they're silly stretch of meaningless amendments were made to serve a narrative. We'll see if they grow up today.

Then why did they have a hissy fit? Clearly they had a plan which was foiled

Try again in English, comrade?

It's quite fitting the Democrats sealed their fate on Friday the 13th.

Really ...he is back under water again even with Rasmussen. When Trump is underwater with Rasmussen, he is under water with EVERYBODY. In fact, he is underwater with everybody.

It's a wee early to be crowing. Rather unseemly, in fact.

I loved Nadler's stated reason for the delay, so that the members could go home and think long and heard and search their consciences about their votes.

Yeah, because everyone hadn't already made their minds up two months ago and so much new information was presented yesterday. Really need to mull that over. :lamo

And yet 50% of Americans believe he should be removed.

Kinda lets ya know how week his numbers are Hugh?

You're correct there, Republicans have already decided that they will allow ANY law breaking and corruption from Trump. Trump is going to make Nixon look like a saint. Unlike Nixon era Republicans though, Trump supporters have no morals or spine.
