Britain chooses disaster

Britain has no one but themselves to blame for the coming disaster, under years of Boris Johnson and conservative rule, and Brexit, as their economy crashes and their healthcare is harmed by privatization.

I have been hearing this same fear mongering since they started talking about exiting the European Union. You can bet Britain will crash and I would bet they are going to do just fine. They are a civilized, democratic, healthy, clean, education population. If you want to see crashes, look at the southern European countries.
 
Brittains have always valued their independence they even stood up against the mighty Roman Empire. Quit ragging on Boris and give the guy a chance. Your economy could take off and unemployment go away and who knows what else. Kinda like when Trump took over the reigns from Obama in the US.

I thought that they were smarter than this after the Brexit debacle. I would have voted for Jeremy Corbyn/Labour.

Britains largely embraced the Roman empire. I've sat in a Roman bathhouse in Bath - it was the northern 'barbarians' who fought them. No, I won't quite 'ragging' on the corrupt plutocrat Boris Johnson. The economy's direction hasn't improved one bit under trump from the direction Obama put it on. Rather, we're at high risk for a major crash.

I gave them too much credit also. They had a great choice with Corbyn, and they made a very poor choice.

I am pleased to say that not that many Brits could bring themselves to vote for the Marxist-Leninist anti -semites. I rejoice that that Labour, once a decent democratic party, have been smashed.

It's just their standard practice of lying - like when trump yelled at Hillary when she pointed out he's a Russian puppet that she is the puppet. They love to say things like 'Democrats are the racists', because lying is their technique of arguing to try to defend themselves. It'd be like Charles Manson yelling at the prosecutor that HE'S the murderer. Doesn't work in court, but fools many when done in the media.

Labour does represent the workers, the conservatives represent the wealthy interests and plutocracy. They pay for not understanding that in the coming years, sadly.

The Brits have never been able to get past the passing of their own empire and never really took advantage of it to the degree that they should have choosing to abuse their colonies as opposed to work to grow them when they had the chance. The English simply have never been able to get over themselves which is why they are still stuck with their quant Royalty fascination which to some extent infects this country as well.

And what are they actually hung on, hoisted up on their own petard? The last vestiges of Empire, Northern Ireland.

They are welcome to support Boris. Supporting SOMETHING is always a better alternative to supporting nothing even if the something you are supporting is risky. But just because they are fleshing through their support of Boris does not make this any less messy than its going to be. If they are going to try to go through with it, it will truly be risky and messy. No less risky than raising all your canvas sailing into a monster storm on hope alone because that is all you have at that point and you surely don't know what the outcome will be. Neither do the Brits. There is no real way to even begin to calculate the outcome with so many balls being juggled at the same time.

It won't disappear, it will just move into plutocracy status.

They'll keep claiming they have it, but it will be underfunded and corrupted with privatization. The British now STRONGLY support it, but that will likely weaken as the service is reduced in a cycle toward less care that is more expensive, with the public perversely turning more against the public healthcare, weakening it more.

Putin loves the harm that's happening, but he really doesn't deserve the credit. He did push Brexit and change the election result, just as he did with trump's election, but the vast majority of the support for both disasters was already there without Putin, and that's the bigger problem.

Conquered people sometimes embrace their conquerors (the weak and defenseless ones especially). I hope Boris's supporters show their steel after this victory and act like real Britains and kick the EUSSR to the curb.
