Totally delusional statement. The evidence that trump has behaved treasonously is overwhelming. To say he was "concerned about corruption" in Ukraine, given what we all know about him is idiotic. Republicans only care about upholding the security and honor of the office of the president when a Democrat is in office.

There's going to either be a war or a total collapse. My gut tells me that Trumpublicans are gearing up for the culminating gambit in their promised "deconstruction of the administrative state", and the goal is to render the United States wholly ungovernable as long as it remains the least bit democratic.

For the last forty years, Republicans have been sore losers and cannot and will not accept the notion that the Left also has a valid right to help formulate American values and help run the country in a bipartisan effort together with them.

For the last forty years, the most enduring precept in Republican thinking has been the notion that Democrats, and anyone aligned in any way with left-leaning liberalism are entirely and utterly illegitimate, and at this point, they now openly accuse us of not even deserving of status as legitimate Americans.

The fact that they must put up with losing the occasional election, losing the occasional Congressional majority, put up with having to obey laws that they did not write or approve of, or economic or social policies they disagree with, has rankled them to the point where, finally in 1994, their dam of discipline, decorum and statesmanlike conduct broke altogether, and they began an accelerated push to dismantle any notion of bipartisanship altogether.
When authoritarianism hops into bed with fundamentalist religious zealotry and weaponized foreign skullduggery, a bastard child arising from such an unsavory union is sure to slouch toward a New 21st Century Night of the Long Knives.


It is rather obvious at this point, that Trump Republicans have decided that it is better for them to burn it all down if they can't be allowed to cheat, so we are now witnessing a scorched Earth end run, in a final attempt to delegitimize constitutional remedies to massive corruption. And if they do learn that they truly cannot win at the ballot box or in the halls of constitutional action, they absolutely WILL resort to enlisting outside help from hostile adversaries to ruin the democratic process altogether.

And there is now no question anymore, that failing that, they will indeed attempt to resort to their beloved bullets.
They have already telegraphed that on countless occasions, openly advocating for violence as a solution.

And the worst part of all is, authoritarians of all stripes, both extreme Left and extreme Right, are cheering for the fire.
They know not and care not from whence the fire comes, they are just attracted to any flame which cooks the carcass they hope to feed on.

They also said that the FBI did not do their due diligence in confirming the information.
had they told the court that the information was bought and paid for by the clinton campaign and DNC
the court never would ahve allowed the warrants. So they lied and committed contempt of court and perjury.

Next they Comey said that the steele document had been verified but testified later that it hadn't been.
in fact according to the FBI the steele dossier was a disaster of false information.

so again we have contempt of court and perjury only this time we are getting into criminal activity.
next they changed and or altered witness testimony.

that is evidence and witness tampering and they not only did it once but a few times.
that gets into criminal charges.

all of this as to try and impeach a president of the US when he did nothing wrong.
and they knew this 6 months into the investigation that there was no evidence.

it should have ended then not 2 years later.

My review of two different 2020 interactive maps yields only one state, MN, flipping from RED to BLUE.... and not a single state flipping from BLUE to RED.

Both maps show other states as Battleground.

In such an environment, it seems perfectly appropriate to want to investigate Biden for what he said he did, and with the murky circumstances surrounding his sons' employment. Its in fact a much stronger predicate than the one used to justify the investigation of the Trump campaign.

The bar of impeachment being lowered is that wanting to do something, alleging to to want to do something, is impeachable.
It's a very low bar and a low precedent.

Yep-- it meets standards to open up an investigation on a presidential campaign because the FBI said that Downer said that Mifsud said that some Russians said that other Russians said they have incriminating stuff on Mrs. Clinton.

Meanwhile, we have Biden on tape saying what he said, and his son working where he worked, and the Democrats think that wanting to investigate on this much stronger predicate is an impeachable offense.

The amazing thing about Minnesota is, it's not amazing at all.
Minnesota liberalism may not be quite the same as East or West Coast liberalism, but Minnesota has always had a solid tradition of Midwest affinity for an almost Scandanavian approach to it. Minnesota liberalism is not given over to preachy-sounding rhetoric, it does not tend to authoritarian extremes quite as much, it does not give itself over to lost causes and it does not seek takings or confiscationism which are reminiscent of some fringe authoritarian Left ideologies.

Minnesota liberalism is both practical and pragmatic, and is borne of a spirit of cooperation which is quite necessary in order to even survive the state's often brutal climate.
Midwestern liberalism is Minnesota's "baseline normal" and always has been.

He's not even stopping. Rudy has been flying back and forth in search of more corrupt oligarchs, and unfortunately for him, corrupt oligarchs are now on the radar over there as much as they are here.
San Diego based One America News even tried desperately to help Rudy, in some very alarming ways...like trying to secure visas for a brand new corrupt Ukrainian.
It didn't work out the way that they wanted...(insert sad trombone here) because the Germans just arrested him.

It's the "crime that keeps on criming".
