There is no path to victory for the Democrats in 2020.

But more significant, there is no road left to redemption.

The Democrats have attacked & alienated two crucial voting blocs, and continue to double and triple down on the attacks and alienation.

The Democrats cannot win without the left and true independents, but they refuse to reconcile with these groups, and instead repeatedly trash and alienate them.

This is a disastrous strategy, and a thoroughly repugnant one.

The Democrat Party dealt itself a fatal blow when it politically assassinated Bernie Sanders in 2016.

Until this is dealt with, and the wreckage of the Clintons as well, the party will continue raging and flailing in psychotic derangement, completely unhinged from reality.

The party is addicted to outrage, and refuses to take any healing steps toward addressing its own outrageous behavior.

Untreated addiction leads to only one outcome.

Democrats: Hear me now, or believe me later...

I'm confused about nothing. You've been on a slide into MAGAt nonsense for months now. "Republicans are the party of inclusion" as the party looks for ways to diminish minority voter turnout, for one.

Yes, the "Liberal Democrats" as in the corporatist shills -are- refusing reconciliation with the voter bloc that betrayed them to Donald John Trump. And just so. They're a goddamned cult, the followers listen to him speak and agree with everything he says even when completely contradictory.

The republicans held him to task for literally nothing, at all. Someone has got to hold him accountable. And if it takes the democrat corporatist establishment types to burn their party to the ground, in order to honor their oath to the constitution, then I support the move.

The Dems are as incompetent as they are dishonest and no match for Trump. He will win re-election easily. However, I wouldn't be so sanguine about the future. Remember, the libs have run the schools for 60 years and are turning out mindless drones by the millions. You know, the safe space, the oceans will be over our heads next week, we owe illegal aliens something, guns are BAAADDD types. They will be voting as their masters have conditioned them to vote and, with the addition of as many illegal aliens as they can get to the polls, the Dems will have a good chance to regain power. That would be OK in any normal circumstances as we had during most of our history.

However, the Dems have now moved very far left and have antipathy, if not open animosity for our system of government, our institutions and capitalism (except where it enriches them, of course). They will have absolutely no compunction about running roughshod over the law and established norms. You could see the EC go, setting up a permanent liberal urban majority. You could see an expanded SC to make sure their other degradations become fixed and permanent law. This is how totalitarians work and the left is nothing if not totalitarian. We should all be sober about the possible implications of leftist rule which could arrive as early as 2025.
