No, but the poster I was quoting said that if Impeachment succeeded in removing Trump from office, a civil war was possible. It logically follows that Rightwingers would pursue violence if the Constitution was followed.

This morning the New York Times’ Thomas Edsall published an important essay highlighting a new study that analyzed the extent of “lethal mass partisanship.” As Edsall observes, the paper contained some disturbing statistics. Among them, “42 percent of the people in each party view the opposition as ‘downright evil.’” A stunning 20 percent of Democrats and 16 percent of Republicans believe “we’d be better off as a country if large numbers of the opposing party in the public today just died.” And if the opposing party wins the 2020 election, 18 percent of Democrats and 13 percent of Republicans “feel violence would be justified.”

The case against trump on the other hand is clear and exactly what the framers included impeachment for.

It doesn't matter what individual posters posted. This is an actual poll which shows violence is more likely by the left than by the right if they don't get the political outcome they wish.

He never confessed it to me. Are you denying that he claimed to be the healthiest President ever? Lots of Presidents were healthy enough to serve in the military. Why not Trump? Which one is the lie? You think both can be true. I think anyone who constantly lies can't be trusted. Trump is a constant liar.

If Clinton obstructed then Trump obstructed on steroids. No President has ever totally refused all cooperation with Congress in a impeachment investigation. It is unacceptable and unprecedented as is his lawyers claim that a President is immune from all investigations. Those rights only belong to a king.

So, 12 members abstain to vote, 24 members vote "present", All of the GOP, and 4-8 Dems vote Against, yet a MINORITY of the House, votes For Impeachment, less than 50%... and the Impeachment moves to the GOP controlled Senate...

Where ANYONE involved, including Pelosi, Schiff, Brennan, Stzok, McCabe, Lynch, Powers, .... Obama and Hillary, can be called to testify under oath...

During an election year....

And you, and most of the Radical Left, think this is going to work out well for Democrats, Globalists, and Lefties?

They also assumed that any President would be held accountable for his actions regardless of party affiliation. That does not seem to be the case in today's GOP. There was comprehensive testimony that showed an abuse of office by Trump and an extensive effort to cover up such abuse. Including the release of the held up military assistance when the plot was in danger of being revealed. Why was that done if there was nothing wrong about the 2 month hold?

So, you're comparing his health today to his health 50 years ago? Really? That's your argument? He hasn't draft dodged the military since he has been saying he was so healthy as president.

It is ridiculous to think that a president being impeached should provide the testimony against himself. There is such a thing as executive privilege. The pertinent people you are referring to were all willing to go to court and let the courts decide if they should testify or not. Democrats refused to wait to hear a court decision and now have the nerve to write up an article of impeachment for obstruction of justice when they wouldn't even wait to let the courts decide the issue. There is no proof that if the courts decided these people must testify that Trump would have refused to let them.

If it were anything even approximating a Fair and Lawful proceeding, it wouldn't.

Schiff is NOT following the Law, Tradition, House Rules, or the wishes of the vast majority of the American People!

In which case, depending on what happens in the Senate, it just might start a Civil-War.... or at least, the Lefties, who have been at war with the Rest of the Nation, Since 2016, might find themselves being strongly and actively opposed.

In short, they don't get better. They can be treated but not cured. How can Trump be the healthiest president ever if he has osteophytes and/or osteoarthritis? Which one is the lie? There will be a trial and the Senate will decide if any of the articles of impeachment are enough to remove Trump from office. Are you prepared to accept the legal verdict and follow the constitution?

What on Earth does that have to do with my post? If impeachment succeeded then the left would be getting what they wanted. You are talking about a civil war with another poster. I am not part of that discussion. I merely pointed out a poll which showed the left felt more than the right that if they don't get their way, violence would be justified.

Maybe he did lie to avoid being drafted into Vietnam... I was there, I didn't do it, I joined the AF, and ended up on several airborne mission crews... though I didn't get shot at in the air until long after the Vietnam War was over, and we were fighting others... but allot of people around me, in the Vietnam era did lie to get out of the draft.

Even if the worst you claim is true, Trump is STILL a much, much, much, more responsible and honorable choice than Hillary! In the end, you only get to pick one of two choices....

As long as the Republican Senators are willing to take the fallout from their dereliction of duty. They will find they are on the wrong side of history and will pay a heavy price for it as will the party.

Every single court has ruled that Trump must allow his subpoenaed associates to testify and he must provide the documents requested by Congress. Trump and his lawyers have claimed he has the rights of a King. This is from a ruling by a Federal Court judge...

I'm certain he did lie and that's backed up by the multiple facts he constantly denigrates the military, no one in his family has ever served and his current medical reports. Yes, lots of others dodged the draft and I wouldn't vote for them either. I'm on record constantly attacking Bill Clinton as being unfit for President due to this issue alone, among other reasons.

Given two choices; I'm also on record several times preferring Trump over Hillary even though I refused to vote for the "lesser of two evils" and chose to vote Libertarian in 2016.
