How many times did the righties promise us the AG report would confirm an anti-trump conspiracy?

And put Comey and many others in jail, heck why not Hillary in jail?

Any how many righties/trump cultists, now that the report is out saying the opposite of what they have claimed it would for all this time, because somehow they didn't get a corrupt puppet in the AG position to write it, have admitted they were wrong?

What is the purpose of this thread?

Other than to taunt, smear, attack and rile, that is?

I don’t know, how many?

It depicts a tail of failures and no explanation for those failures. This report describes a failure of past FBI management and a failure to get to an answer how so many mistakes could be made by the current IG. It is kinda ironic isn't it. We are stuck to believe the FBI knew exactly what they were doing and were capable enough to assure their was no proof of it or they were a bunch of bumbling fools who failed on multiple occasions without detecting and/or correcting those mistakes. IG is telling us the latter is true.

I have no problem caulking this nightmare up to another incompetent move by OBAMA to make Comey the FBI director. It also reaffirms the gut instinct Donald Trump had to fire the failure.

Have you read the report? I haven't, so I don't know but I'm thinking that report is chock full of evidence. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what conclusion Horowitz comes up with. He's not the one who decides if anybody gets indicted or not. That would be Barr, Durham and a grand jury. And they have a lot more information and evidence that they can discover since they aren't limited to just investigating the FBI.

Personally, If I were Comey I wouldn't be breathing any sighs of relief just yet.

Ever read Plato's The Cave? That is their world. Except it isn't the shadows from flames they are watching. Its Fox News

Barr has a political motivation, a client in Donald Trump to protect.

You should at least read the executive summary at the top of the report. It might save you some future embarrassment.

Too late, this time.

Are we comparing wee wee's now?

I thought you cons said Hillary would be in jail by now. Wow with a Republican President, Republican congress for two years, Republican DoJ, Republican cabinet picks and you cons STILL couldn't manage to do anything. :lamo Incompetence is the defining trait of Republicans.

The FISA report said this:

Conclusions Concerning All Four FISA Applications

"We concluded that the failures described above and in this report represent serious performance failures by the supervisory and non-supervisory agents with responsibility over the FISA applications. These failures prevented OI from fully performing its gatekeeper function and deprived the decision makers the opportunity to make fully informed decisions. Although some of the factual misstatements and omissions we found in this review were arguably more significant than others, we believe t hat all of them taken together resulted in FISA applications that made it appear that the information supporting probable cause was stronger than was actually the case."

"We identified at least 17 significant errors or omissions in the Carter Page FISA applications, and many additional errors in the Woods Procedures. These errors and omissions resulted from case agents providing wrong or incomplete information to OI and failing to flag important issues for discussion."

The right wing Trumpkins - both in Congress and right on this site - have not one iota of credibility in their assertions and this finding proves it.

Who has been described as having no credibility? Seems your partners in crime.

Funny you should say that since Horowitz cant seem to find any political motivation whatsoever when he examines Trump hating leftists. Nah, they made errors and didnt follow proper procedures because they were incompetents, not partisans. lol

You mean a complicated and involved effort that involved human beings had some mistakes in it? You are like the kid that comes off the basketball court and puffs out his chest bragging he made a three point shot despite his team losing by double digits.

The chief finding is still clear: the FBI investigation was not politically motivated and was warranted and Trump was wrong about his central charge.

Since I don't watch news much, I haven't seen more than a random person or two on some internet forum claim that.

I believe it is to stick under the noses of the Trumpets so they can smell their own...

Well that's certainly mature.

But the swamp was never going to drain itself; quite the contrary.

Thus the Nothing Burger expected.

It is an IG report not a AG report. The AG will deliver his with indictments.

Not so much. While the report does make such claims, the facts prove otherwise.

FBI's Efforts to Evaluate the Steele Reporting

Steele's handling agent told us that when Steele provided him with the first election reports in July 2016 and described his engagement with Fusion GPS, it was obvious to him that the request for the research was politically motivated.

The supervisory intelligence analyst who supervised the analytical efforts for the Crossfire Hurricane team (Supervisory Intel Analyst) explained that he also was aware of the potential for political influences on the Steele reporting.

However, as we describe later, as the FBI obtained additional information raising significant questions about the reliability of the Steele election reporting, the FBI failed to reassess the Steele reporting relied upon in the FISA applications, and did not fully advise NSD or 01 officials. We also found that the FBI did not aggressively seek to obtain certain potentially important information from Steele.

But hey, as another poster claimed, it was just minor clerical errors that cause the FBI and other to fail to disclose the critical political motivation behind the nexus of the whole Crossfire Hurricane sham.

Trump is still claiming that their was an underlying evil intent on his goof....He can't lie his way out so he tries to befuddle the masses with BS...Because he can't seem to dazzle them with brilliance..

I believe it is to stick under the noses of the Trumpets so they can smell their own...

It's to support the truth, against its enemies who lied so loudly so often, when the facts are in to settle the argument. To push the people who were so wrong to learn from their mistakes, and to remind people who was wrong and who was right, that is lost in the yelling earlier. I waited for the report to get to point this out, and I pointed it out. On to the next thing the righties will loudly, often get wrong, not learning.
