Why are you overreacting so drastically to an event that you say is insignificant? Marxist left? Prison? USSR? I imagine that in the vast majority of these cases, the defendant is given no jail term or is sentenced to time served. If some overgrown infant can't keep his hands to himself, then I'm totally cool with him cooling his heels for 3-5 days.

Well, I don't think he should have gone to jail, but it wasn't cool, and a vast contrast to what the viewer assumes to be happening.

I never thought they were a couple. I just thought a random happy sailor found a pretty girl and decided to kiss her. I assumed all parties were fine with it, and never heard otherwise.

I had always thought they were a couple, and he on shore leave; celebrating that the war was over.

The event was insignificant. The left's reaction is troubling. Save serious reaction for serious offense. Not silly stuff like this.

The Duggar thread was my first and most successful thread with 28.400 views and 1760 responses to date. I would guess it is among the most successful threads since it was posted. Not sure of that.
