This is too funny... KJU knows that Trump's weakest point is his narcissism, so that's how he hits him:

North Korea conducts '''very important test''': KCNA

On Thursday, the North's vice foreign minister warned of returning to a war of words with the US, threatening to resume referring to Trump as a "dotard" -- Pyongyang's nickname for the US leader at the height of tensions in 2017.

More concerning is this test; when they say it will reset their strategy, I wonder if they are getting the atmospheric re-entry problem solved for their ICBMs. Trump's misguided bromance with KJU gave the latter more time to continue to develop this last piece of technology he needs to become a real nuclear threat.

What do you think should have had to happen to prevent the more time?

No bromance. Trump was actually doing well when he threatened to attack NK. The North Koreans seemed to be fearful, as in, "uh-oh, maybe this guy is crazy enough to attack us." But no, Trump wanted to be the "great negotiator" and started his bromance. Now he is stuck because restarting the military threats will be akin to confessing defeat and confessing that he isn't such a great negotiator after all... which Trump won't do.

Having had no bromance would have stopped KJU from developing this last piece of technology he needs to become a real nuclear threat?!?

It's actually not funny at all.

The world thinks we're all stupid and good for nothing but trade.

Kimmie is trolling the Master Troll in Chief to see if he'll push the yuge red button.

Disagree.

NK only began making threats, when Trump made unprovoked threats of regime change. That's when the testing went into overdrive, and they made clear they wouldn't let what happened to Libya and Iraq happen to them - especially when they saw Bolton.

The sanctions were the right move and I'm glad he didn't listen Bolton's stupid war fantasies.

No. The right attitude, was that Trump would come down on KJU very aggressively, very demanding, and saying "don't you think that you're still facing that nice weak guy Obama, I'm different, either you capitulate immediately or I won't hesitate to annihilate you." KJU wants regime preservation... faced with the certainty that Trump was indeed different and crazy enough to attack him regardless of consequences, KJU might have capitulated and denuclearized. But Trump suddenly changed to a nice guy... which empowered KJU, who correctly assessed that he no longer needed to make concessions. Get it? The bromance issue CANCELLED all the fear that KJU was developing when facing a US president that for the first time might actually kick his ass. Trump lost the opportunity to be seen this way. At the time when Trump was threatening an attack, I was thinking, whoa, maybe we'll finally have this solved, go Trump! But he ruined it.

At the peak of the war of words, I think Trump should have sent three aircraft carrier groups, nuclear submarines, large bombers including equipped with nukes, and tell KJU "capitulate immediately or else. If you capitulate, I'll let you remain the leader of NK and won't invade. But if you don't denuclearize immediately and you don't dismantle your missile program immediately, you'll die and your country will become a wasteland. It's as simple as that."

I bet war wouldn't even have to happen... What we needed was a credible threat, because I always thought, diplomacy doesn't work with the North Koreans... they will only comprehend a credible threat that would end their regime.

But no, Trump wanted a Nobel Prize... LOL

Well, that's because it was all words... The sticks and stones weren't credibly there. TOGETHER with the threats, Trump should have displaced a LARGE chunk of our Navy and Air Force there, and should have issued a clear ultimatum. KJU is not stupid. He is Western educated, in Switzerland. He wants regime survival. If faced with certain annihilation, he would have budged.

Thank you for admitting your OP is full of BS.

Thanks for not being able to counter what I said, and just coming up with some sort of saving-face smart-aleck response. Bravo. Well done.

By the way, since you're so smart [insert sarcasm here], please enlighten us. What should Trump do now, that he cornered himself into this impossible situation? What's next? After he legitimized KJU, after he celebrated his great negotiating abilities, and came up with nothing, and discredited too, what should he do, in your opinion?

Because sanctions haven't worked for the last 40 years. Is that what you recommend? More sanctions?

Trump is back to square zero (with time wasted) and is no longer a credible threat (KJU knows by now that the great narcissist won't attack him, because it would be equivalent to confessing that his pretended negotiation skills are BS).

If Marshal Kim thinks that President Trump is a "dotard," wait until he has to deal with President Joe Biden!

Two wrongs don't make a right. Biden is a dotard but so is Trump.
It's funny how Kim Jong Un absorbed one of Trump's hallmarks: to come up with a detrimental name to belittle his opponent. I wonder how enraged the narcissist-in-chief feels that someone calls him a dotard.
