Trump: is he a Symptom or the Disease?

Well THAT would never work at the RNC.

Is Trump still bussing those same six Blacks for Trump guys to his rallies?

I think Trump will get far more than six blacks to vote for him in a year. Do you believe in racial quotas? I sure don't.

Maybe so, but he's got the same five or six sitting behind him at rallies.

I think our society has all sorts of quotas. I don't particularly like them, but also think sometimes playing fields need a little adjusting.

After Trump and Pence go down with the criminal cast, Nancy Pelosi will be President. Who we choose from there, who knows? The majority will rule.

ROFLMAO. You can dream that all you like but I’d bet $1000 it will never happen. If anything, the Republicans would prevent both going down at the same time so that Pence would choose his VP before facing any charges himself. As it is, I doubt he’s done anything that would get him convicted in an impeachment. Still, that would be the plan.

In my opinion Trump is the result of a woman running against him right after a black man was president for 8 years. No way the bigots were letting her win. And, there were enough of them that he won.
You’re free to have that opinion, but I think 2016 was more about who was the most deplorable and corrupt candidate, not a gender or race competition.

Problem for Trump is the percentage of seniors who "favor" him is rapidly shrinking. Seniors went Republican by 2 points in 2018, compared to 8 points in 2016 and 12 points in 2012.

Trump'''s biggest risk in 2020 isn'''t losing young people. It'''s losing their grandparents.

"People 65 and older have long been solidly Republican, serving as reliable voters who can be counted on to not only turn out more than other blocs, but also do so with less effort on the part of campaigns. Their support was evident in both the 2010 and the 2014 midterm elections, when the GOP won these voters by 21 and 16 points respectively. So, too, was it visible in the last two presidential elections, as senior voters backed Mitt Romney by 12 and Donald Trump by eight points.

However, 2018 witnessed a startling shift toward Democrats; the GOP managed to win voters 65 and older by just two points."

Edit to mention: Forgot to put in quotes...from the article.
“We, the People” shall see in less than a year. I like gambling “polls” better than opinion polls for two reasons: First, because people who put their money where their mouth is are betting on what they think will happen, not what they want to happen. Second, having an opinion doesn’t ensure a person will actually vote that opinion. A person who has “skin in the game” is much more likely to vote than one who doesn’t.

Reading this tweet got me thinking.

In my view, the GOP was already halfway there. Otherwise, the Trumpster would never have won the primary.

What think you all?

We had a viral disease before that caused our defenses to be down and it made us unfriendly and not interested in talking to anyone. We needed to go to a doctor to get it looked at and hopefully fixed with some expensive and hard to get medicine. Nonetheless the nation decided we needed to go and see a witch doctor instead and he brought us Trump and now the disease has morphed into caused cancer and the chances of survival have now decreased where the chances for death are 80%.

Are you suggesting Hillary was more deplorable and corrupt than Trump? Hell, I hated the Clintons. But, I know that isn't right. Trump was a proven fraud long before the GOP fell in love with him.

Yes, exactly. Not just Hillary but the ‘Clinton’s’. You don’t have to accept it, but it’s the truth. The corruption of the Clintons was openly talked about and mocked long before anyone ever said anything about Trump. The sooner Democrats get that the sooner they find another JFK instead of Obama.

Trump = LITERALLY The Black Death

and if Trump wins-what does that mean? that the nonstop attempts by the losers of 2016 didn't work?

That we sink into one of the less pleasant dystopias, most likely.

do you really think you help your cause claiming that those of us who will vote for Trump are stupid? you seem to think that Trumps policies, judicial appointments etc mean nothing.

I would say the wealthy gun loving set loves him and they contribute money to trick stupid people into voting for him so he can give them, the wealthy, more money to play Highlander with.

And leave your guns alone. (2nd Amendmemt liberal here, don't start)

how would she be better than Pence? policies or in terms of integrity and leadership

Better because with Pence we get the ****ing Christian conspiracy/theocracy bull**** turned up to 11.

Do you seriously believe that the GOP-controlled Senate will remove Trump? I wish, but that's not going to happen, therefore there will be no President Nancy Pelosi.

No I don't seriously think the yellowbellies will vote to convict Trump. I was just saying what needed to be done.

Yes. Hillary was the Michael Corleone to Trump’s Fredo. She was the bigger threat; she was smart and corrupt. Trump is stupid and corrupt. He almost immediately got caught doing sketchy and/or illegal stuff. Hillary would have been much slicker in covering her tracks. Two good examples are the Clinton Foundation vs. Trump Foundation.

The case for "Symptom."

Yes, one was operating perfectly legal and the other had to be shut down due to fraud. Man, you're like the gift that keeps on giving. Have you any other fine examples to provide us?

Ahhh, so perfectly legal that donations dropped over 90% in the first two years after Hillary lost the election.

Your insults do not persuade anyone; all they do is indicate I’ve touched a nerve.

I kinda like your analogy here.

He's basically saying, "Thank god Trump is a stupid crook."

Amazing that this now passes as the American litmus test for a fine president.

Symptom. Forty years of Culture War and Fox News's mainstreaming of conspiracy theory culture made a President Trump possible.

While the absolute worst qualities in the Republican party will cease to be so reinforced once he's gone, the foundation for another Trump will always be there. And it will happen when Democrats return to their non-voting ways.
You were doing well until you mentioned Fox. That's upside down. Fox and Limbaugh were the first signs that the grip on information was slipping.

Yeah...yeah... We already know about Trump.

But, as the other poster asked.............. why did all the donations dry up all of a sudden after she lost the election?

I challenge you to find a single post of mine where I said that I think Trump ever deserved to be, or is a fine president.

I'm positive that you will find the opposite.

But this doesn't seem to matter. Unless you're an enthusiastic participant in daily "two-minute hate" threads, you're a "Trumper" and part of a cult.

Where did I mention "you"?

Read my post again. I challenge you to show where I wrote anything like what you insinuate.
