Nunes missed his true calling; TAPDANCER

Another one for the "Look, there's a squirrel" file.

Skip to 0:54 where Fox News hosts questions Nunes on his call to Lev Parnas.

Here's the thing. As minority leader in Intel Committee, he should be deposing/subpoenaing Parnas, NOT calling him on the phone.

Since he did, and the records prove that he did, ( and I believe the calls were to Parnas, not from him, as Nunes said ) he has become a witness,
and, as such, he should recuse himself.

If the call were to Nunes, and if Nunes did the correct thing, and assert that he cannot speak to him casually, and hang up, the call would have lasted less than a minute, but the record shows the call lasted 8 minutes, so it doesn't matter who called whom, first.

But, recusal is an ethical person would do.

    I love it!

Have you had a conversation with Parnas?

Nunes: We haven't been able to confirm that yet.
[translation: you can't prove it, I'm not under oath, so I'm not going to tell you the truth.]

It amazes me (not really) how many republicans have such poor memories, especially regarding matters of ethics.

Thanks for the 0:54 start. I like fact delivered with humor. One humor part being "A bunch of weasels running around, bumping into each other, in his (Nunes) head".

Schiff's office met with the WB and he lied about it. If he didn't recuse himself, nobody should. Lindsay Graham should have some guts and subpoena Schiff's phone calls. We can only imagine what that might reveal.

The video and the ones I posting below are quintessential reactions that even a skilled liar has when confronted. The most experienced liars such as Paul Manafort and Mike Pompeo show a level of "what the fack do I say now?" It's instinctive fear and panic that can't be overridden because it's the 'fight or flight' acute distress response triggered by the sympathetic nervous system through the release of stress hormones into the bloodstream. It's a natural instinct that's nearly impossible to tramp down in a split second.

I first saw it when Paul Manafort was questioned by CBS anchor Nora McDonald in 2016 about Trump's ties to Russia.

    Minute 1:58

On Sept 22, Mike Pompeo had the same gut reaction to a question he was recently asked about the Ukraine phone call. CBS host Martha Radditz had a fairly long interview with Mike Pompeo and he was quite confident and well prepared until she asked him about the whistleblower complaint and the phone call made by Trump to Zelensky. Up to that point in the interview he was confident and prepared, but not for this question. His 'fight or flight' response went into overdrive because he just wasn't ready for it. Here's how he reacted.

    Advance to minute 7:39

The records prove a call was made to Parnas, which shows that Nunes's response was a veritable tap dance, otherwise I would not have made this post.

We have evidence Nunes called Parnas, do you have evidence Schiff met with WB?

Incontrovertible evidence proves that Lindsey Graham is a first-class hypocrite

Schiff's office met with the WB. The idea that Schiff doesn't know who the WB is, is only credible to small children and liberals.

He lost his chairmanship due to his unethical behavior. History will reflect Nunes as as dishonorable person.
