I know the defense was along the lines of: so he shook the guys hand, doesn't mean he knows him, which yeah that might work occasionally, but then I saw a clip of Trump and him walking together and chatting. So the whole handshake thing became irrelevant and clearly just another lie.

Let me guess, this is just another shortsighted attempt at attacking Trump, and it's just going to show how pathetic a small minority of the left are. For just jumping on this kind of story.

I guess that depends on what one means by "knowing someone."

In my lifetime I have met and chatted with literally thousands of people, some of them relatively to very famous. I'm gonna bet that with a few exceptions, most of the famous people would say (if they recall anything at all) that they just chatted with me but didn't actually "know' me.

That pretty much holds true for the vast majority of average joe citizen's here and around the world that make up the bulk of people I've "chatted" with.

Now it is true that the "famous and powerful" often run in the same circles, but that does not mean they actually "know" (as in are intimately familiar with) each other.

The rich and famous are not really that much different from the rest of humanity. They will have some intimate friends, some other general acquaintances, and a lot of business or other surface contacts with most.

This push for "guilt by association" is another nasty part of those constant moral panic efforts to demonize.

I had a guy ask me if I remembered him. I told him no. He then told me he had worked for me for two years nearly 30 years ago and reminded me of some things we did together. I then remembered him. I'm glad I am not a famous politician. The democrat attack dogs would likely have me locked up in no time under accusations of lying.

Yes, thirty years ago. How long ago did Trump meet all the people he claims he doesn't know? He clearly remembers things he claims he never said though. How does that work?

I'm sure Trump has met Mike Tyson too but he might not remember it until somebody reminded him he's the guy who bit Evander Holyfield's ear off. Same thing with Trump meeting with Prince Andrew. Prince who?

Trump was friends with both Epstein and Prince Andrew. He is on video partying with Epstein around women. He is on audio bragging about sexually assaulting women. He has been accused of rape and sexual assault. Do I think Trump is above having sex with underage women supplied by Epstein? No I don’t. I think Trump is absolutely capable of doing such a thing.

There are so many photos of Trump with people end up arrested. According to Trump he doesn’t really know any of them, and he only hires the best people.

We are so confused by all the stories, we don’t even know if Rudy Giuliani actually works for Trump, but I have a feeling the truth is that Trump doesn’t really even know Rudy Giuliani. :2razz:

He will screw a porn star while his wife his having his son but will definitely hold the line at a perky underage female.

Am certain his standards make Melania more comfortable.

Who knew Trump was a deep plant working under Prince Andrew's direction all this time? While we were being told Trump was was a Putin surrogate I don't understand.

Trump is like a movie star who cannot remember every person he has met among millions of his followers, even if it was just a few weeks ago. Did he mean he did not know him well or that he have never heard of him? Or was it something else entirely?
