Pelosi once said GOP paralyzed by '''hatred’ during Clinton impeachment | Fox News

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., lost her temper Thursday at a reporter who asked her if she hated President Trump — but past footage from the 1990s shows the congresswoman accusing Republicans of the same thing.

When then-President Bill Clinton was being impeached in 1998, she accused Republicans of impeaching with “vengeance” and being “paralyzed with hatred” of the Democratic president.

When the Pelosi "hate" thing came up yesterday I suggested that sometimes it's better to just keep your mouth shut when someone asks an annoying question. Well, this is why that choice is often the good one.

Every day that goes by the impeachment becomes more and more of a comedy of errors. Democrats are having their own words thrown back at them. Their "facts" are mostly opinion and some are flat out wrong. Giuliani's phone calls to OMB, for example, are now being reported to actually be calls to the White House. Schiff is under fire for investigating and releasing phone call information from members of his own committee. They are pushing the limits of the law, the limits of congressional powers and the limits of the American voter. They now run a serious risk of not only failing to get their impeachment through the Senate but of turning moderate public opinion away from them and toward Trump. Their excesses may well be catching up with them.

The impeachment was stupid back then as it is now.

Emperor Schiff's new wardrobe is out for the public viewing.

Look, next time don't elect a crook who bribes and extorts people. It's really easy.

Maybe even a businessman who doesn't have to get bailed out by his dad to the tune of over a billion.

Oh, you think?
Meanwhile, the DOJ is 345 this morning, 266,000 new jobs added, (way above expectations).
House Democrat says he plans to vote against all articles of impeachment

But go ahead... :giggling: Impeach the president, Nancy.

Right. The REALLY easy thing to do would just be to elect people the Democrats like and who goes along with their ideas. If everyone does what the Democrats know is best for all of us they won't have to call us names, accuse us of crimes and punish us.

Democrats are the abusive spouse of American politics.

Situational ethics and standards, nothing new with politics. But it does drive home the point that Pelosi is just as insane as Trump is, at least living in a similar bubble condition.

Problem is, the Dems don't give AF if you can show them video of themselves saying the polar opposite and leveling the same accusations back when Clinton was impeached. They have zero self awareness. They don't care if they look like hypocritical fools.
As long as they win in 2020, they'd sell their own mothers for warm beer.

“They” aren’t the only ones................:3oops:

I raise you another hypocrisy. Just wait until we elect another D Potus and the other side is using terms like the " Dirtbag's bull****", "______clown", hypothetical "buttdigger in chief", "Native Queen", "senile Joe". I can imagine the uproar from the left, when the above it all elite will deny ever having sunk that low.

That isn’t the same as Pelosi saying Republicans hated Clinton.

A Sinclair Broadcast Group (owner of Fox News and many other right wing outfits) reporter specifically addressed the question to Pelosi; "Do you hate the president, Madam Speaker?".

Because a person doesn’t carry hate in their own heart doesn’t mean they’re not able to recognize it in others.

Thread fail.

You can see the hatred she is describing here, a lot.

"Schiff is under fire..." What else is new?

The big difference is:

Clinton lied about a blow job. And was not convicted by the Senate because of the Historical Optics of impeaching a President over a blow job. What will ultimately be remembered is he was impeached for lying to congres and was aquited by the Senated because the basis for the lie was petty.

tRump used United States treasure to extort a favor from a forigen nation (desperately in need of military aid approved by Congress and recomended by the Pentagon), a favor that would have benefited his reelection. Impeachment was added to OUR Constitution as a remedy for exactly that kind of miss-use of Presidential Power. It was argued that impeachment was unnecessary because of periodic elections, but was added as a remedy for a President using his office to insure his reelection.

The transcript of tRumps call, put into context by the testimony of 12 civil servants and military personnel are more than enough evidence to impeach. Coupled with tRumps obstruction of Congress, by not letting people honor Congressional subpoenas and the Obstruction of Justice outlined in the Muller report:

YouTube

there is ample evidence to Impeach.

tRump his AG, CoS, Sec St. and numerous other's have, on many occasions, put HIS presidency above the law. IF the Senate acquits the Articles of Impeachment it may be remembered as the singular act that changed our Nation from a Constitutional Republic to an Imperial Presidential Dictatorship. Which is what, I've come to believe, is the goal of tRump, his Staff and the Oligarchs that back him.

I call your bet, and raise you Christian hypocrisy. Christians chose as the best representative of their values a man who brags of peeping on children and sleeps with prostitutes as his wife gives birth and steals from charity and leads a racist birther movement and makes the most horrible statements on social media and has refused to pay good family men who have worked for him.

There is no hypocrisy like Christian hypocrisy.

That is why I am not voting for biden.
You seem confused again.

The only person that brides someone was biden and obama.

It is pretty pathetic honestly.

A comedy of errors like Joker is a romantic comedy about a wacky & misunderstood - but lovable! - clown.

It’s okay, ludin, nobody expects you to be able to comprehend simple logic.
