Priorities...

**** Bernie's one-time student debt payoff idea.

And most poor republicans will keep voting republican to support those wealthy corporations and folks and trump's golf habit and let's not forget the socialism checks for the farmers.

Good job R's.

I keep hearing about this huge tax cut but 2018 tax revenue was higher than 2017 revenue and 2019 revenue is projected to be higher again. How are you reconciling "more taxes collected" with "$1.9T tax cut"?

That is a Robert Reich tweet. Not Bernie's.

I get it. I dislike that particular idea rather strongly, is all...

I'm all for large increases in investment in various areas of public education. I'm not in favor of a one-time payoff of student debt, especially by people how paid off their own already.

Easy. CBO estimates we would have collected 1.9T more without the tax cut.

So democrats are opposed to saving farms now?

So democrats are opposed to saving farms now?

They're opposed to idiotic displays of fake toughness that win us nothing and require us to bail out the people those policies hurt. Nuance is tough.

They are not. They are for not putting farmers in the position where they have to have welfare assistance like republicans have.

So why are republicans so for welfare now?

Good luck selling that to farmers in fly over country that already dislike the DNC. What you call nuance, they will see as two-faced.

The big priority which both political parties ignored has been the opportunity to invest in infrastructure renewal at bargain basement interest rates. One part of this could have been the addition of a single lane in each direction to our existing major interstate highways. The development of self-driving vehicles has already reached the point where automated long haul trucking is feasible. The roadways would have become available as the technology to make full use of them developed.

Other areas beckon.

Meanwhile, Washington's internecine warfare continues apace.
