Republicans Really Liked Reading Just the First Paragraph of Trump's Comments in "the call"

Republicans at yesterday's judiciary committee hearing repeatedly read a carefully selected part Dirtbag's shakedown of Zelensky which seems rather anodyne but somehow didn't want to read this one later on which happens to be the crux of the case against Dirtbag:

The other thing, There's a lot talk about Biden's son, that Eiden[sic] stopped the prosecution and a lot of people want to find out about that so whatever you can do with the Attorney General would be great. Biden went around bragging that he stopped the prosecution so if
you can look into it... It sounds horrible to me.

In case that's still unclear to Dirtbag's cult, that's the solicitation of help from a foreign leader to manufacture dirt on a political opponent which is a federal crime under this statute:
[USC02] 52 USC 30121: Contributions and donations by foreign nationals

Republicans at yesterday's judiciary committee hearing like reading Dirtbag's first paragraph in his shakedown of Zelensky but somehow didn't want to read this one later on which happens to be the crux of the case against Dirtbag:

In case that's still unclear to Dirtbag's cultists, that's the solicitation of help from a foreign leader to manufacture dirt on a political opponent which is a federal crime under this statute:
[USC02] 52 USC 30121: Contributions and donations by foreign nationals

You lose on 5 counts

1. There was never a threat to withhold money if Zelensky didn't help

2. No money was ever held waiting for an investigation

3. Biden doesn't get a free pass or is immune to an investigation just because he runs for president, Sorry

4. You have no one other than Democrats voting for impeachment which makes this a political stunt. Without Bi-partisan support, its a sham

5. Every witness testified to what they presumed and every witness testified they have no knowledge of any bribery or quid pro quo.

You can cry about it all you want but those are the actual facts that voters know.

Being concerned about possible criminal action is asking for "manufactured dirt".

Now THIS idiotic reasoning is why Trump is going to get elected in 2020.

all that does is prove that Trump is asking about it in order to ACTUALLY investigate corruption. BIDEN DID brag about it.

IF THERE ACTUALLY MIGHT BE corruption then the president has every right to ask for an investigation into it.

Doesn't explain why Democrats keep truncating the quoted "favor" sentence.
But the truncated part does explain the Biden part.
You could have figured that out yourself with very little effort.

It might have been nice if Trump even mentioned the word "corruption" though. All we heard was Biden=bad.

Re: Republicans Really Liked Reading Just the First Paragraph of Trump's Comments in "the call"

1. There was never a threat to withhold money if Zelensky didn't help
Nope. Zelensky was already aware of the delay in the release of funds. Thus his comment that he was "ready" for those Javelins.

2. No money was ever held waiting for an investigation
That's the cult's view but not at all true. The funds were only released in late August (4 months late) when Dirtbag got wind of the WB story.

3. Biden doesn't get a free pass or is immune to an investigation just because he runs for president, Sorry
It's illegal to invite (i.e., "solicit") a foreign government to provide any "thing of value" to a political campaign whether it's true or not and in this case verifiably false.

4. You have no one other than Democrats voting for impeachment which makes this a political stunt. Without Bi-partisan support, its a sham
Since congressional Republicans are not longer a political party but a personality cult completely obedient to its dear leader the idea of bipartisanship does not apply in this matter.

5. Every witness testified to what they presumed and every witness testified they have no knowledge of any bribery or quid pro quo.
I guess you, like the leader of your cult, can pretend that Gordon Sondland doesn't exist but I'm afraid that isn't going to fly with rational people.

You missed all the part that all Dirtbag really wanted was the announcement of the investigation with Zelensky "in a box" (meaning publicly) and with CNN (for the widest possible exposure--funny how Dirtbag "likes" CNN for this purpose, eh?). He neither gave a **** whether the investigation came up with anything (it wouldn't have) or even if an investigation even happened. All he needed for his campaign was the spectre of that investigation to use against Biden.

I know you really aren't that naive to think Dirtbag had any real concern about corruption (this must be the cult effect "talking"). He wallows in corruption. Corruption is what got him into office in the first place.

All of the testimony...at least from the people who actually knew anything...indicates it was about corruption. None of the testimony provided anything other than opinion...similar to yours...in regard to dirt. Heck, even Trump's own words to Zelenskiy is about corruption.

Do you seriously think we should be impeaching Presidents based on opinions?

I know your answer is yes...and that's why Trump is going to get elected in 2020.

Sorry, you don't get to make delusional claims as to what you might think other people are thinking. The answer was correct. Nope

2. No money was ever held waiting for an investigation

Again, Thats what you presume. You have absolutely no evidence and none has been provided. You are just spewing off about what you think. Doesn't work like that.

3. Biden doesn't get a free pass or is immune to an investigation just because he runs for president, Sorry

You mean like the Steele Dossier or is this just another one way street?

Oh, So now you are the arbiter of who is or isn't a Republican? You do realize how delusional that sounds?

5. Every witness testified to what they presumed and every witness testified they have no knowledge of any bribery or quid pro quo.

Talking about delusional, I guess this video doesn't exist either. Even in the face of actual testimony with Sondland stating he has no knowledge of anything and all of his testimony is his own presumptions, you still deny it.

Just goes to show who the real cultist actually are

who cares how he said it?!?! geezus its trump... BIDEN BRAGGED ABOUT AN ISSUE THAT MIGHT HAVE BEEN TAKEN CARE OF FOR IMPROPER REASONS, thus , corruption.

you missed the part in the transcript where he TOLD SOndland, no quid pro quo i want him to do the right thing... and the part where the witnesses said they could not point to quid pro quo in the call.

There is no evidence of anything improper in what Biden did. In fact it is the opposite and you need to ask yourself, what politician in his right mind would "brag" about something he did that was improper? It is ridiculous on its face.

Nothing suspicious about his use of the phrase 'no quid pro quo' when he wasn't asked about that.

It's only coincidental he used that phrase after learning it was the phrase used by the WB.

That was in Sept. and you missed the part where it was revealed Trump had gotten word that his extortion was being revealed before he made that totally incongruous statement that does not jive with the facts or the witness testimony. Why would he have released the aid if he was truly concerned about corruption and felt that it was his "right" to ask for the investigations?

The timeline, of course, is of critical importance. Trump ordered the hold on military aid in July, he learned of the complaint against him in August, and he released the promised aid in September. Or put another way, the American president agreed to do the right thing only after becoming aware of the fact he’d been caught doing the wrong thing.

That’s no small detail, especially in the context of an impeachment inquiry evaluating the motivations behind the White House scheme. Former federal prosecutor Mimi Rocah explained, “This is what prosecutors call ‘consciousness of guilt.’ It’s very strong evidence that when he froze the money it was for an illicit purpose. Otherwise, why not keep it frozen and explain it was all on the up and up to fight ‘corruption?’”

ut let’s also not overlook the testimony from Ambassador Gordon Sondland from last week.

Sondland told lawmakers about a conversation with the president in early September, in which Trump purportedly told the ambassador something to the effect of, “I want nothing. I want nothing. I want no quid pro quo. Tell [Ukrainian President Volodymyr] Zelensky to do the right thing.”

Last week, Trump treated this as a major development, as if his clumsy message to Sondland was proof of his innocence. That didn’t make any sense: the president can’t credibly claim his own implausible cover story somehow exonerates him.

Be specific.

Media and Democrat repeated part of sentence from the transcript ...
"I would like you to do us a favor though ..."
Part of same sentence quoted ...
"...because our country has been through a lot and Ukraine knows a lot about it.

There you go. Specific.
Now you explain why that part of the sentence is never quoted. Be specific.

Then where is the evidence that Biden did something improper? Also if there were any evidence why did Trump ask a foreign power to investigate instead of his own DOJ? What is it with Trump constantly welcoming election help from foreign powers? You do know that is illegal don't you?

Besides the fact that it is a lie that Ukraine was involved in meddling with our elections? Russia hacked the DNC and clandestinely infested social media to help Trump and Trump welcomed the help. Trump was repeating a false conspiracy theory promoted by Russian intelligence to the Ukrainian President while his country is at war with Russia. Think about that.

Just because you sealed yourself off from any of the fact witnesses who testified before the Intel committee doesn't mean that their testimony didn't happen. But you're doing great work for the cult by keeping the lies moving.

Thanks for repeating what the Republican ****heads at yesterday's committee did: Leave out the part further down when your Dear Dirtbag specifically wants Biden and his son investigated. I know why you people don't like to face the fact of that being a criminal act in and of itself but it is amazing that you think people outside your cult would swallow your bull****.
