What happens if Trump loses in 2020 — and refuses to leave?

Had to laugh at all this. Sure sounds like what the Democrats have been doing for three years now. Some things from the article:

Who would be the strongest standard-bearer if the fight goes on past the election, beyond the experience of history?

believe that he would refuse to recognize electoral defeat

I fear that if he loses the election in 2020, that there will never be a peaceful transition of power

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is also skeptical, having “told associates that she does not automatically trust the president to respect the results of any election short of an overwhelming defeat,”

I am deeply concerned about the possibility that a close election that the Democrats win would be interpreted by Trump as not having achieved a mandate

He can demand recounts, do all kinds of things to raise doubts about the legitimacy of a Democratic victory.”

A lot might depend on the margin of the victory; a close election obviously would be easier for Trump and his supporters to contest and discredit.

Yep, sounds just like Democrats to me.

He won't lose. He is pretty much guaranteed to win at this point.

If he were to refuse to leave, I assume that the secret service would arrest him like any other trespasser.

Why the hell do you think he is reaching out to foreign Nations?!?

You might not be laughing when he doesn't leave power peacefully, which I don't think he will.

Then again, you might be.

Sad part is, TDS actually has people believing this.

After working for that dick for years I bet he "falls down" a few flights of stairs on his way out...

The Trump haters have a more important issue to deal with than getting all triggered by hypothetical situations...like how are they going to make Trump lose in 2020. So far, their best shot...this impeachment nonsense...isn't going to get it done.

I don't wish Mango any harm. Just retirement ASAP, preferably abroad.

Yip he is sure to win the biggest sweatiest ass on the cell block award.

No one is more deserving than an old pervert that loved to walk in on teenage beauty queens in their dressing rooms...

I am not so kind, apparently you are a better person than me.

After thinking about it, I'm okay with that...

Michael Cohen Trumps "personal" lawyer is the one that said that.

Welcome to democracy where low information voters possess equivalent power to high information voters.

Unless voter suppression laws have been inactivated to keep minorities from voting.

Oh wait that has been going on forever...

Cape Town. Mandela's prison he was exiled to. It's just a museum now though.

Well that would be physiological torture for trump to be imprisoned in a cultural environment.

Remember he called the Whitehouse a dump...

At this point I do not see Trump losing.
But whenever he leaves office, I speculate shortly to follow Trump and Melania will release a tell all book of their time in Washington and it will be a doozy that a lot of folks in Washington including others internationally and the MSM are likely dreading. And after their book tour, they retire to Mar a Lago.

Then we'll paint his cell black to comfort him.

The answer to the question is "nothing" because it's not going to happen. It's just the feverish thoughts of those that have voided their ability to reason and replaced it with their rabid ideology.

If Trump loses the election, he will spend all the time between the election and the inauguration trying to discredit the election. He will resist in every way possible, but in the end he will go quietly because although he talks tough, he's a *****. He won't be there for the inauguration, though. He'll slink out the back door beforehand.

Lots of words just to say you agreed with me.
