FDR's paralysis was minimized by a sympathetic news media because it was irrelevant. It involved a certain amount of bowel dysfunction. Remember when life was more civilized, less predatory?

Relevance being the key here. FDR's paralysis was irrelevant. Trumps diminishing mental acuity is entirely relevant. If it's true.
You agree? A President having mobility issues is a lot different from a President having mental problems, right? Who mentioned Trumps physical shortcomings? Oh yeah, you did, as a sympathy ploy.

But lack of mental acuity, and low intelligence would explain a lot of his often pointless, petty, and reckless behavior.

If you Google the warning signs for spotting a narcissistic sociopath, Trump checks every single box.

Reagan was legitimately senile. H. W Bush didn't know how to deal with domestic policy. W was half in the bottle or the powder most of the time. Dubya is not a smart man, but when he will be contrasted to Trump by historians he is virtually Plato. by comparison.
