Sure, Bernie has the most donors and most donations of anyone, including trump. But the military?

Ya, Bernie has four million individual donations, faster than he did in 2016 when it took until the primaries, ahead of anyone else. But, who is the military donating to? Asking trump supporters in particular.

Oh,wait. Bernie has the most in donations by the military BY FAR, more than trump, Biden, and Pete combined. Huh. Wonder why you haven't heard that on any of the mainstream/cable media?

Credible link?

Maybe he is still not a bought and paid for party puppet who get all their money from the rich and powerful who own our government.

You going to provide any source?

This is the only reason the DNC keeps allowing Sanders to flip flop back and forth between (I) and (D). His donor database.

He'll make that database available to the DNC after he drops out and the DNC will use it after the primary. We saw this happen four years ago. The Dem rank and file let it happen four years ago. They'll let it happen again.

U.S. National Security Employees Prefer These Democratic Candidates in the 2020 Presidential Election

And they combine "members of the State Department and the military". Isnt it more reasonable to see the state dept donating to Sanders? Plus the numbers we're talking about are small and Trump hasnt even really started to campaign yet.

All combined, this isnt a meaningful stat.

Contributions Overall

Put together, donations from national security employees comprise only a small portion of general fundraising, however. And when accounting for both committee money and outside money—leadership PACs, super PACs, and 501(c)(4) dark money outlets, for example—no Democrat matches even a third of the funds raised by the Trump campaign this year.

The main reason that this is unimportant is that Sanders is unlikely to be the DNC POTUS nominee no matter how much his campaign spends. After all, it is votes that matter - not how much was raised or spent seeking them.

It would be interesting to see DNC internal emails like we did in 2016. I bet they don't like Bernie much. Seems like somebody had a talk with Warren about policy, though.

The sad part is unless he belongs to one of the 2 bought and paid for parties he has no chance of being elected. Trump faced the same dilemma. He is not a republican but he could never be president without the backing of one of the 2 corrupt parties who run our government. To get the backing of one of the parties a candidate has to be beholding to the party and the wishes of the people who fund and own the party. The people who fund both parties are the rich and powerful not the American people.

Well, he's fighting those interests - not taking their money, not beholden to them, and they are fighting him in the primary. He's trying to take over the Democratic Party, and he's doing well. It's the corporatists versus the progressives and I'm voting progressive.

Sanders is pushing the FDR Agenda.

For anyone who is "concerned" about Bernie Sanders and his agenda, read em and weep, especially you dems who refuse to accede that he is the best chance to defeat Trump:

What happened in the 40's? FDR. This, ladies and gentlemen, is the result of FDR. This yuuuuge, bigly bloc of time where the democrats enjoyed a supremacy in government not realized in decades. However, the endless, and relentless assault on FDR's legacy and the benefits of his programs every one of us enjoy has been very ruthless, and has lead to a right wing insurgency based on falsehoods and "populism," which has been co-opted by oligarchs and the politicians they own.

That's right. It's time tested that "we the people" support the FDR agenda, and always have. And no, Right Wingers, NONE of your politicians plan on "not ending social security or medicare or anything else." They -will- gut your benefits. They -will sell you out- to the highest bidder.

Only a renassaince of the FDR position can save this union because it sees no color, it sees no gender. It sees no sexual orientation.

It uplifts -everyone.-

Total nonsense. Establishment democrats have forgotten the reshaping of the party under FDR as the pro worker, populist party that uplifted and cared for all members of the union.

That's something YOU and the rest of the centrist dems need to square.

Why would they like Sanders? He's an anti-oligarch and the DNC is beholden to oligarchs just like the republicants are.

People support free stuff. Shocking.

No one is saying "free stuff."

Sanders and FDR simply advocate for an inclusive society wherein our tax dollars are spent on things that help us, in lieu of spending our tax dollars giving petrochemical and agribusiness companies billions in subsidies.

It is interesting though. My guess is that Trump is in office, unable to end the wars and bringing our troops home.
Sanders, Warren, Buttigieg are still in the promise phase. Hypothetically, had either one been in office for a few years, having to deal with the how and the when, their support would lessen as well.
Just a guess.

No, they support keeping a fair share of the wealth they create. Billionaires support all the wealth going to them. Shocking.

In the most recent poll I saw, the ONLY Democratic candidate who beat trump was Bernie.

Corporatist Democrats love to claim they have an idea about electability, and say that's what matters, when they think it's an argument for Hillary or Biden. Then they should be consistent and honest, and support Bernie as the most electable candidate, which he was (he did better than Hillary always and would be president today) and is.

I have no stomach for them. The democrats need to stop this madness and embrace their FDR mantle and cease being the party of neoliberal kleptocrats.

Even if he some how wins and becomes president he will face the same opposition Trump is fighting. Little or no support from your party except to keep us fairly evenly divided. The rich and powerful can and will rule over us as long as we never unite. They use our media to make sure the hate never ends and we finally realize the only reason nothing is getting done is because we are divided.
