The appeal is simple. He stands up to the bully.

They throw epithets like racist at him and he throws them back. They slant the coverage and run unsupported stories, and he calls them on it. They refuse to cover anything that might be helpful but he tweets it out anyway. The party elites look down their nose at people who do not speak well and lumps them in with racists, bigots and homophobes. It doesn't matter if it's true. They can and do shut anyone up with an accusation, at least until Trump. That's his appeal. He won't eat anybody's ****.

Trump is trying to silence the media and has done so since day one. All of his fans think the media is a left-wing anti-American entity spreading lies and paid for by George Soros. Unfortunately for Trump, we still have a Constitution protecting Freedom of Speech. OTOH, Germany was a Republic before it became a Fascist state.

You are correct in thinking that Trump's followers think the media are adjuncts of the Democratic party, or vice versa. There is good reason to think that way. According to Media Bias, almost all of the MSM outlets are left or far left. Only Fox is right of center. The media effectively silenced opposition to Obama by labeling it racist, regardless of the merits. In short, the media is a bully and Trump's supporters have been stung, often for no reason. We were closer to a fascist state then than we are now.

But your cult denies that Trump can do anything right, even when he does nothing. So, it's a matter of doctrine for you.

Do you realize how few there are of you? I estimate 25%, but that's me. It cannot be much more because more than that, because well over 40% are solidly behind Trump and another large fraction will acknowledge he has done some things well.

Sadly I agree with several on that list. He is destructive and bad no doubt. I would never vote for him. But even sadder is I would breath a huge sigh of relief if he wins over any dem offered up. In fact I would likely do a little jig dance in celebration of dodging a huge bullet. Sad times indeed.

I would recommend you see a doctor. Your illness does not presently have a cure if allowed to go too far (after the first 4 years of illness) and does offer a guarantee of death if it passes the 4-year period.

Doing nothing is often as bad as doing the wrong thing. Trump has done nothing about Russian meddling into our 2016 election. You call pointing that out being doctrine?

This is amusing. I watched a montage yesterday on this most recent talking point of calling supporters a "cult" and not so curiously this came from the lunatics on MSNBS and CNN. These cry baby powder puffs like Lemon, Stelter, Cooper, etal live in a bubble where the only people they ever talk to are those within their protective bubble of being pampered rich kids, big government control, never making a joke (Russia should find Hillary's emails). Their world is fake. It is one of fantasy where everyone is equal and everyone has what they want when they want it and the entire world can come to America and get free health care and college and somehow America would be able to pay for it. There's is not a world of reality but one of fantasy and Trump came to ruin their preposterous imaginations. I have never seen a group that projects who and what they are onto others than these modern day leftists who have ruined their own Democratic party.
