Trump called it 3 years ago when he said he could commit murder in broad daylight and not lose a single vote.

His supporters are part of a cult. Trump could rape their daughters and beat up their mothers right in front of them, and they would scream "Adam Schiff made him do it!".

Correct, and at this stage, I fully expect the kleptocratic, authoritarian nightmare as described in the gulag archipelago to come to fruition. Trump will be let off the hook, and tens of Millions of Americans will vote for him, despite how damaging what he has done will be to the validity of our elections for the forseeable future is.

They deny that the hatch act exists. They smear military men and women; they defend a POTUS who steals donations for veterans. They claim some form of defense for a man who, instead of just firing Yovanovitch, he had to "destroy her career." They claim everyone else is insane, are composed of religious zealots and insane Qanon adherents; they angle shoot their arguments and fling everyone into the obscure.

It's complete insanity. I've never, ever seen anything like this, not even with the excessive Reagan worship still endemic to the republican base.

The entire thing has destroyed all hope I have left for the future of this nation as the land of the free.

But there was plenty of first hand testimony, Sonland and Hill were most damming to tRumps defense.

Sondlan was Trumps best witness. He is the only guy who actually spoke to Trump directly and testified that when asked, Trump told Sondlan he wanted nothing from Ukraine.

The democrats already had an ambassador testify that even the Obama administration was so concerned about the Ukraine, corruption, Barisma, and Biden that they called her in and specifically addressed it with her before sending her into the field. The Obama administration was concerned about missing billions from banks and money laundering. They also expressed concern about Hunter Biden taking positions in a country known for corruption that his father was given oversight for and that he was completely unqualified for. SHOCKING others would want investigations before giving them more cash.

What does that have to do with Trump using his personal attorney to get Ukraine to announce they were investigating the Bidens in exchange for taxpayer money and not launching an official investigation into Biden and his son?

By the way, where is the evidence I keep asking for of your claim that Trump employed "literally millions of people"? You didn't lie about that - did you Vance?

That doesnt change the facts that none of the witnesses actually spoke to Trump. Sondlan did and what Sondlan testified to destroys the narrative against him. The OP is right. The missing piece is Trump making the link himself.

This is because POTUS refused to let the key players testify. Nothing more. There is enough circumstantial evidence that anyone who thinks about it should be able to connect the dots.

That's right, and it's how we put away criminals every year who are embroiled in white collar schemes, where often you only have a few records, and you're required to show intent and knowledge of the act, through witness testimony.
You typically start with lower ranking, get testimony...and work your way you, with the threat of perjury/false statements helping to keep the higher-ups more honest, as the testimony confines them each as it builds.

When it's organized, it often falls under RICO statutes.
Look at poor Donald, already had to settle a civil RICO case during his presidency:
