Why Sondland's lapse of Memory could be true or just a lie!!

Sondland is presently testifying before congress today concerning Urkaine and many wonder if he is telling the truth since he testimony seems to have changed. The Trumpsters who believed Sondland was telling the truth when he first seemed to be protecting trump, now they say Sondland can not be trusted as his testimony has changed since he now "remembered" what had happened. Many people including those who support impeachment think he changed his testimony in fear of being charged with perjury and they are probably right. My only thought that Sondland might have really "remembered" is what often happens to me and probably others out there. I am in my 70's and my wife will often ask me if I remember some incident that happened and I have to say no until she gives me some reminder and then I do remember. This could have happened to Sondland as I am sure I am not the only one who forgets. It could have, NAH!!

It looks to me like both Sondland and Volker had tunnel vision. They both wanted Ukraine to get the aide that had been allocated to them by congress. They were willing to jump through hoops to do it. They were willing to get Zalenski to jump through hoops as well. It wasn't till they looked back that they realized that the hoops were on fire.

I am also 70 and there are entire years of my life I do not remember. That is the truth.

I notice Sondland set it up very nicely for his selective amnesia by saying he never takes notes or writes up the discussions afterwards. It gives him a very convenient out if he needs it.

Sondland is a textbook example of why vanity diplomats should never be taken seriously or given sensitive posts.

Trump should have realized that someone who paid to get the job was not going to be as loyal to him as those Trump appointed knowing they would.

Do NOT say that. I have been thinking of investing my IRA in a political contribution and getting a post at a foreign embassy in return. It could be fun.
