I'd wondered why he was so despised by Democrats, but today's withering shaming of grotesque witch hunter Adam Schiff provided a spectacular explanation.

After Schiff's bizarre, stumbling, mumbling, rambling, pop-eyed train wreck of an opening, Nunes cut through the former's shambled hypocrisy effortlessly, and with blazing, righteous clarity.

The true adult in the room, Nunes may have a bright, and possibly presidential, future.

Today, I was reminded of this moment; Welch crushing the criminally insane witch-hunter McCarthy:

Nunes is neither a hero nor patriot. He's the guy who took classified info out of a safe room and ran it over to trump in the White House. Criminal is more fitting for him.

Plus he is suing a fake cow. Not very presidential

Nunes is a lying sack of **** Trump butt shark.

A sampling of blatant lies and partisan hyperbole (most of what he said) from his opening statement today:
- the Democrats on this committee spent three years accusing President Trump of being a Russian agent.
- the Democrats issued their own report focusing on their now-debunked conspiracy theory that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia to hack the elections.
- A sampling of their accusations and insinuations includes:
Trump is a long-time Russian agent, as described in the Steele dossier.
The Russians gave Trump advance access to emails stolen from the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign.
The Trump campaign based some of its activities on these stolen documents.
Trump received nefarious materials from the Russians through a Trump Campaign aide.
Trump laundered Russian money through real estate deals.
Trump was blackmailed by Russia through his financial exposure with Deutsche Bank.
Trump had a diabolical plan to build a Trump Tower in Moscow. (He did have a plan, but no “diabolical” accusations were ever made)
Trump changed the Republican National Committee platform to hurt Ukraine and benefit Russia.
The Russians laundered money through the NRA for the Trump campaign.
- they've zeroed in on an anonymous whistleblower complaint that was cooked up in cooperation with Democrats on this very committee. They lied to the American people about that cooperation and refuse to let us question the whistleblower to discover the truth.
- When Ukrainian President Zelensky denies anything improper happened on the phone call, the Democrats say he's a liar.
- In closing, the Democrats fake outrage that President Trump used his own channel to communicate with Ukraine. I'll remind them that our first president, George Washington, directed his own diplomatic channels to secure a treaty with Great Britain. (idiotic twisting of history. There were no established political parties when Washington was first elected president, and as he disdained political parties, he was never officially a member of any party so “his own diplomatic channels” was John Jay, Supreme Court Chief Justice. Hardly a partisan).

That was the part that I found remarkable.

Every item on his list of so called lies was actually true.
 
Considering the reaction from the board Communists, I'd have to say he's both.

Ah...so how does that compare to say...having classified documents and information sent across unsecure public internet lines and storing it on your personal computer at home? Good enough to run for President and you probably voted for her.

Wow, that person should have been throughly investigated and possibly charged with a crime.......Does not sound like anyone I've voted for, but I guess you are saying that you would vote for lying cow boy Nunes.....
