They're terrified of the disgusting constituency they've created.

He was screwed from the beginning. The counsel are supposed to be there to address facts, but the facts are all absolutely damning to the administration. So he dives into this minutia that doesn't accomplish anything while bomb after bomb is being landed on the Republicans.

In fact in Watergate there was no middle ground. There was widespread support from Repugs for Nixon all the way up to the day when there was not and.....THEN THERE WAS NOT!

Well, at least you’re not still trying to pretend anymore.

This is not minor. Minor campaign violations don’t involve $400 million of taxpayer money, “personal attorneys” and Russian bag men running around trying to blackmail people, or foreign policy. And, since we’re not talking about campaign officials, the idea of a “campaign violation” is hardly relevant.

You know it as well as I do. But, at least you’re making progress!

Its worthless.

There is an established pattern here. Anyone who crosses trump and doesnt bute pillow for him is denied. Like California. This was all personal. Past behavior is indicative of future behavior. Thus this will become normalized if he is allowed to get off the hook for this.

The Republican defence looks like the battle of Berlin. A lost cause they're just trying to save face in front of the fear leader at this stage.
