Doesn't sound like it to me. He totally debunked the corruption CT on Biden that has been spinning around Fox 24/7 ( which came from Guiliani whose buds, Igor and Lev, are under indictment )

Volker repeatedly emphasized during his remarks he did not believe the allegations against Biden to be credible.

“I have known former Vice President Biden for 24 years, and the suggestion that he would be influenced in his duties as vice president by money for his son simply has no credibility to me. I know him as a man of integrity and dedication to our country,” Volker said during his testimony.

Volker also testified that he told Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani that accusations against the former vice president and 2020 Democratic candidate were “not credible.”

The Republicans haven't asked for Volker to testify...that would be the Dems. Unfortunately, Volker didn't help the Dems any. They probably regret asking him to come and testify in an open hearing.

Republicans very much asked for him to testify, as well as Morrison. But yes, I'd say the GOP probably does regret that request after today. :stars:

He didn’t think it was credible because Biden was a long time friend.

That makes no sense. Even if there is nothing done wrong, their is a clear “appearance of evil” that deserves scrutiny. Even the Obama admin knew this which is why the nominated Ukraine ambassador was mock questioned over it.

To object to an investigation is not honorable.

That's not why, but he had known him a long time. Your loose interpretation of what was actually said is really no more than a strawman attempt to dismiss the testimony.

If Volker supported Trump in his testimony I'm sure he would become credible again.

They're all Republican appointees or career non-partisan witnesses. Of course none of that matters if you tell the truth, and refuse to be a Trump lickspittle. Then you're an enemy of the state.

Actually it does make sense. Of course, Trump's counting on his base not being able to add two and two, and come up with four.

At this point, trying to get Trump fluffers to accept facts is akin to stirring a pot of boiling spaghetti and seeing Pennywise the Clown and The Tidy Bowl Man rowboating around the noodles while they blow each other.
It is hard to be prepared for the level of bubble deafness you encounter, and you begin to hallucinate.

Seriously though, two possibilities. He doesn't show up in this thread again. Or he shows up a few dozen posts down the line without ever addressing the fact that he just made a fool of himself.
 
Has anyone seen ONE WORD any Republican in Congress has said during the entire process that shows they are interested in the truth?

Trump and his minions refer to it as "alternative facts". In their minds it isn't lying, but rather their versions of what they consider "the truth"
