Two things have blown the democrats "inquiry" all to hell

Today Elise Stefanic got Axex Vindman to admit it is US law to investigate corruption in a country BEFORE aid is given. Second the US signed a treaty with 6 other countries including Ukraine to investigate corruption.

As I see it this totally blows all to hell Schiff's and the democrats "inquiry". President Trump was just following the law.

Time for Pelosi and Schiff to pack up their clown show and move on. Maybe just maybe they could get on with the business they were sent to Washington to do for a change.

Except that Ukraine had already been vetted with regard to corruption before the aid was approved and certainly before Don Vito tRump withheld it.
 
Ukraine and impeachment are two different things. There's impeachment and there's how in the world can we get to there? Remember just a bit ago when it was Russia? Fool me once.....

Impeachment is not about "following the law" - it is a totally political process.

Vetting needs to be an on going thing, and in this case there was corruption involving Biden. Just because Ukraine passed vetting some time past, it does not mean new corrupt actions after that historic vetting is not occuring.

Yours is a republican talking point

In 2019, President Donald Trump falsely claimed that Joe Biden had sought the dismissal of a Ukrainian prosecutor in order to protect Hunter Biden from investigation. However, Hunter Biden was not under investigation, and there is no evidence of wrongdoing done by him in Ukraine.

Bribery and extortion, by strange coincidence the charges here, are indeed against the law.
 
Bottom line here it is just too damn bad that Biden got caught up in corruption the President Trump was investigating. As they say you cant fix stupid.

Further is is a hoot that one of the democrats STAR witnesses had to admit what the president did was lawful. In Schiff's case you cant fix stupid. His little dictatorship needs to fold up its tent and move on. Some democrat much smarter than he is needs to tell him the old adage----------------when you find yourself in a hole, the first thing you do is quit digging.

Investigating corruption (by Biden) is not extortion. He just got caught in the process of investigating if the money and goods sent to Ukraine would not be used by a corrupt government.

Really democrats these two point in the OP make democrats on that committee look like fools.

You have to be pretty damn naive to think that when the VP of the UNITED STATES flies into a country on AIRFORCE TWO and his son with him flies out getting $80,000 a month is on the up and up.

It is US law to investigate corruption in a country before aide is given? Could you direct us to the specific quote from Vindland and the specific law? Also, why did Trump violate the law by giving Saudi Arabia weapons when it is one of the most corrupt countries in the world?

False claimed???? No it is totally true. Democrats can re-write history to cover up what happened.
 
Federal law states quite clearly that an American campaign cannot solicit things of value to use in their campaign from foreign sources. Nothing the Congresswoman said today change that or the fact that Trump violated that law.
 
Ukraine doesn't matter. Nobody is getting impeached because there's corruption there. What Trump said is the issue, and this thread has little to do with that.

What is funny is that for every thread from a liberal about hiw " this is the thing that will sink Trump" there's one from a Trumowtte claiming that it's all over.

Well the big problem here is the idea of investigating Biden wasn't based on any good leads; just unsubstantiated "connect the dots".

Yep, the House demorats will draw up articles of impeachment (in committee) and then they get voted on (passed?) by a simple House majority floor vote - just as with the formal impeachment "inquiry". It is then up to the Senate to decide what (if any) action should be taken on them - up to removal Trump's removal from office.

Yep, but must be tried in the Senate and require a 67 vote (minimum) super-majority to find Trump guilty.

Question. Can you explain to us how two of perry's big contributors ended up with a fifty year lease for oil and gas exploration while he was there with pence looking into corruption?

In a sane world you would be joking. Biden boasted about doing what the Democrats accuse Trump of doing, holding up aid for a personal favor. There is also discussion in the phone call about Ukraine's involvement in the 2016 election, which qualifies. Finally, there is Hunter Biden who is a person of interest in corruption cases in both Ukraine and China. You have to willfully blind to miss the references to corruption.
