Chuck Woolery: Supporting Trump pretty much destroyed my career

Chuck Woolery: Supporting Trump '''pretty much destroyed my career''' | Fox News

Sad we live in a country where one can become a pariah in society for simply expressing their beliefs.

Publicly supporting a blatant and long time racist like Trump can have consequences. Why does that surprise you? This isn't 1950, where blacks can't drink out of the same water fountain, and that type of behavior is the norm. Or the 1960s where White adults were so violent towards black children that the national guard had to be called in.

Donald Trump’s long history of racism, from the 1970s to 2019

Here's another Trump supporter who paid the price:

“The Army has placed Alexander #Vindman, an expert on Ukraine and a central figure in the impeachment inquiry, & his family under 24-hour security monitoring after Trump targeted Vindman in tweets accusing Vindman of being politically opposed to Trump.”

Vindman just expressed the truth. Even that's not currently acceptable in many conservative circles.

1. Yes, that is true.

2. My deepest sympathies to Mr. Woolery.

3. On the other hand, there IS good news: The female "star" of the rebooted "Will and Grace" is a rabid anti-Trumper. I have read that the show's ratings are sinking.

Still drinking the koolaid I see.

Remember not to speak negatively about your dear leader.

i've listened to conservatives my whole life (almost 60 years) and much of that was at parties, at restaurants and bars or out and about (sporting events, vacations, etc). i know these people like the back of my hand.

since the KKK got busted by the IRS the roots of conservatism had to splinter into small groups and they HAD to figure out a way to continue to push their agenda without sane people noticing and rising up and kicking them to the curb. so they wrapped their message in the flag and the bible and changed their verbiage.

it really is brilliant. they ride the fence so well in public but if you ever get a chance to listen to them when they're drunk/honest they just let all their hate come flowing out.

Well, seeing as everything touched by Trump turns to ****, is it any surprise? Who, in their right mind, would want to have any association with Trump? As far as pariahs are concerned, ask the banking industry why they won't do business with him.

Their posts make that very clear.

Trump has made it even clearer. Imagine, he made an ad so racist, even his propaganda wing wouldn't carry it. That is his opinion of his base.

Fox stops running Trump's racist ad

that's really Trump's brilliance. not business dealings or real estate or administration. his brilliance has always been sensing what makes people emotional and using that to steal money from them.

Chuck Woolery hasn't hosted a TV show since 2007. He had his own show in the early 1990s that last only a couple of months, and then was yanked off the air. He failed. For the last 7 years he's been making YouTube videos sharing his views on guns, gays, and politics.

It sounds like Chuck is desperate for a career so he played the victim card when one does not exist. Pathetic.

Whining coming from the side of the debate that has persistently denigrated "Hollyweird" and maligned actors incessantly for at least the last 2 decades just makes me laugh my ass off. His non-existent career suffered? Bull****. He's just a washed up has-been like Jon Voight who now feels persecuted for his beliefs even though that entire industry has been under fire by sycophantic morons for years. I will not shed a tear for him or any Trumpist who gets their ass handed to them for supporting a moron.
